She was able to locate the perfect venue for my wedding and negotiated a price well below the normal rates with her kind and winsome manner. During the planning process and wedding day, Melanie was always calm, confident, and professional. Not even the most difficult situations seemed to phase her. She was able to handle every situation gracefully and tactfully. She was organized and helped me to be able to enjoy a peaceful week before the wedding while she put together all the final details, writing literally hundreds of emails. My husband and I were so grateful for her help and expertise in planning and putting on our wedding that my husband suggested we send an email to thank her on our honeymoon. Melanie planned a fundraising event for us and NOT a wedding. From the very conception of the idea to the actual day the event took place Melanie was there leading us through to make the event successful. She helped us book the venue, work out food and drink details, helped us create a decorating theme, created a floor layout for tables, and seating. We were collecting items for a silent auction and she had detailed spreadsheets of items as they came in, who donated them, and their estimated value. Our event was certainly a success due to Melanie's professionalism and thoughtful planning care!

Melanie coordinated our wedding and was such a lifesaver! Right from the start she jumped in and directed us as to priorities and tasks and helped with researching vendors. She listened well to our ideas and dreams for the wedding and was very considerate of our thoughts. Both my (at the time) fiance and I worked full time and were unable to find the time to research locations or other vendors in very much detail; but Melanie stepped in and took our vendor list and made the necessary calls and e-mails to get the answers to our questions (and those questions which she added that we didn't know to ask!). She collected results from her vendor research in an organized manner which made our decisions so much easier! Melanie's organization skills are incredible and she keeps very good records. Her help with the wedding preparations was indispensable! As if that wasn't enough, her coordination of the rehearsal and the day-of was seamless! There was no stress for us or either of our families – we were free to enjoy this special day! Melanie very professionally handled some issues that came up with the venue and the venue owner to such an extend that we never knew that there were any issues until some weeks after the wedding. We are both so grateful that Melanie was involved in our wedding planning and the big day!

She was extremely responsive with any and all questions and very timely and thorough with all information regarding the wedding. She kept in great contact with us before the wedding, and constantly checked in with us day of.
