Rev. Rox: Our primary locations are non-religious sites: parks, home, hotels and other wedding venues.

Rev. Dave: As long as the wording is good for "mixed" company, we are very flexible in the wording of your ceremony. You should feel comfortable with all parts of your ceremony.

Rev. Rox: Couples can write their own vows or use vows from our Ceremony Selections Packet.

Rev. Dave: If you book our services, we will give you our packet of Ceremony Selections, which will help you create your dream ceremony. You may choose selections from our packet, edit them to your liking or bring in other selections that you may have seen or heard at another wedding.

Rev. Rox: Our area of expertise are weddings and rehearsals. We don't require premarital counseling. If you would like premarital counseling, we can refer you to several professionals.

Rev. Dave: While we don't require a rehearsal, we almost insist upon one. Rox or I try to be at every rehearsal as we find that 80-90% of mis-cues could have been fixed at the Rehearsal. Rev. Rox: Your ceremony is a public statement of your commitment. You don't want it look unorganized. Rev. Dave: If Rox runs your rehearsal, be sure to ask her who Pepe is...and don't make him mad.

What don’t you do?
Rev. Rox: I don’t sacrifice anything, because I don’t cook. I don’t jump out of anything because I don’t fly and I don’t perform ceremonies naked because after two babies, this body isn’t for display.

Rev. David: I would agree with the sacrifice, but I’m willing to jump out of an airplane! We will wear Hawaiian or Renaissance attire for theme-weddings. We also reserve the right to review the ceremony for content. If it doesn’t belong in mixed company, then it probably doesn’t belong in a wedding.

Do I need a blood test?
Rev. Rox: As of January 1, 1995, a blood test is no longer needed to obtain a marriage license.

Should I provide you with a corsage/boutonniere?
Rev. David: It's not necessary. Some couples do give us a corsage or boutonniere to wear since we are in a lot of your wedding photos.

Rev. Rox: And we save the flowers we receive. We dry them and add them to our "wedding wreath".

Where do I get a marriage license?
Rev. David: A couple can pick one up at the county clerk's office. Here's a list of county clerk's offices for Northern California.
