Ludemas Floral & Garden is a local, family owned business - with 5 generations of experience!  I (Allison Ludema) have been handling the weddings at Ludemas for over ten years, and I love every moment of it!  At Ludemas, our goal is to provide each of our clients with a personalized wedding plan that will display the bride and groom's personality and the atmosphere they are looking to create - all within the budget you have in mind.  Consultations are complimentary at Ludemas, although they are by appointment only.  My schedule is very flexible, and I am able to do daytime, evening and Saturday appointments, depending on the weekend.

How do I start the process of picking out my flowers?
I find that many customers think that picking out wedding flowers is one of the scariest or most difficult parts in planning a wedding.  Generally, this is because not everyone is used to dealing with flowers on an everyday basis.  My advice to future brides is to purchase  bridal magazines and search online for flowers that catch your eye - they don’t even have to be pictures of wedding arrangements - tear out or print off anything that is appealing to you.  You will notice that after a while, your eye will keep on coming back to bouquets and flowers that are quite similar to each other.  If you bring these pictures in with you during a consultation, it helps me get an idea of your style and what you are going for.  I most certainly do not expect my clients to come in knowing all the names of the flowers - that is my job to show you pictures and samples of the flowers that I think might work best for you.  My job is to make you feel as comfortable as possible with everything, and I will do whatever it takes to make you feel confident in the fact that the flowers that will be delivered on your wedding day will be perfect!
