1. What is the benefit to having a childcare service during my wedding?
Many guests, especially those coming from out of town, have no other choice but to bring their children to your wedding, or be eliminated from the fun. Finding a trustworthy babysitter for multiple families can be extremely difficult and time consuming.
Providing the children with their own celebration is the perfect way to accommodate your ‘family-oriented’ guests while simultaneously achieving the Adults-Only wedding celebration you desire!
2. Where exactly do you hold the children’s celebration?
On-site. Talk to your reception site coordinator about arranging an additional room for us to entertain and care for the children in. This can be any room – even a hotel room!
3. Do you care for infants?
Of course! Lil’ Guest Getaways is designed for children of ALL AGES. Our caregivers are extremely experienced when it comes to infant care. All we ask that the parents of infants (0-12 months) provide us with specific formulas and diapers to accommodate their child’s needs. Lil’ Guest Getaways can also provide Pack-n-Play and/or Baby Swing if necessary.
4. I have children that need to participate in the ceremony and / or pictures, but not in the reception…How does that work?
This is very common, which is why we typically wait until after pictures before taking the children to their Lil’ Guest Getaway location.
5. What types of activities do you do?
We do it all! Arts, Crafts, Musical Instruments, Interactive Games, Karaoke, Dancing, Movies, Video Games, Toys, Goody Bags and MORE! We take the time to look at the age of each Lil’ Guest and pre-select activities that fit into those age brackets.
6. What is the Child – Caregiver ratio?
1 Caregiver to every 5 children with a minimum of 2 caregivers per event. Infant (0-12 months) requires an additional facilitator depending on the number of Lil’ Guests in attendance.
7. How long does the Lil’ Guest Getaway last?
We are able to provide services for as long as you need. Packages start at a minimum of 3 hours. Additional hours can be added to any package.
8. Do you feed the children dinner?
Yes! We highly recommend you allowing us to feed the children so that you can avoid paying premium prices for Kids Meals through your caterer. We offer food options such as Pizza & Juice Boxes. We can even provide a Lil’ Guest Wedding Cake for dessert!
Parents are welcome to provide us with food for their children if they so desire.
We ask that food be provided for any child that cannot consume solid foods yet.
