Do you provide customary cakes, such as Croquembouche?

Do you offer private tastings or open house tastings?

I offer a chef's choice tasting at no charge and will serve two to three samples at our consultation. I also offer a bride's choice tasting for $30 and she may choose two flavors and two fillings to taste.

What are your tasting hours?

I can work with each brides schedule. I offer morning and evening appointments, as well as weekend appointments if I have availability.

Describe how you price, such as by slice or by tier, for your cakes?

I price my cakes based on the cake flavor and number of servings. Brides are free to choose any buttercream design without worry of how her design will affect price. Fondant cakes are priced by flavor and complexity.

Does the price include the top tier of the cake?

Yes.

Do you offer custom cakes, or do you work with pre-designed styles?

I enjoy working with brides and creating a custom cake specifically for her style and theme. However, I also have an extensive portfolio and if a bride falls in love with a design I have previously created, I would be more than glad to create that design for her. She is also free to bring in a photo that she has found and I can recreate that cake as well.

What (if any) special ingredients, such as fresh fruits or farm-fresh butter, do you use in your cakes?

I use only the freshest ingredients in all my cakes.

On average, how far in advance of the event do you prepare the cake?

For a Saturday wedding, cakes are baked on Thursday and decorated on Friday.

How many cakes do you schedule for a typical weekend?

In order to give each bride the attention and detail she deserves, I can create two to three wedding cakes per weekend, depending on size and date/time of wedding.

Will you work with the client's florist to garnish the cake?

I believe flowers can help bring a cake to life. I will gladly work with your florist and put your flowers on your cake for you at no additional charge.

What (if any) cake accessories, such as a cake stand or cake cutter, do you rent out?

I rent both round and square plateaus based on availability.

Do you offer delivery? If yes, how much is your average delivery fee?

I will personally deliver and set up each wedding cake. My delivery fees start at $50 and increase based on distance.
