Kayla made our dream wedding cake come to life! We gave her just a few inspiration pictures and she absolutely nailed it, our cake was even more beautiful than we imagined. The Lambeth style design was stunning, so detailed, and perfectly fit the theme of our wedding.
Kayla was so attentive and easy to work with, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. On the wedding day, everything went perfectly, and the cake wasn’t just gorgeous, it was absolutely delicious too!
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are so grateful to Kayla for creating the perfect cake for our special day. Highly recommend! -

Visionary baker!
Kayla knocked it out of the park with our wedding cake! We had a specific vision and she was able to bring it to life in the most amazing way. She was also lovely to work with and so professional.
The flavors were delicious and we especially loved the not-too-sweet frosting. Spice Cake was the favorite! -

Kayla was great!! We absolutely loved our cake, it was so yummy and beautiful! It was very easy to set up a tasting with her, and she had tons of example photos for us to choose from. Before the wedding, she double checked our design choices which was great, because we wanted to switch soemthing and she was super flexible with it! The cake looked beautiful at the reception and our guests loved it! Her pricing is super reasonable as well! My husband and I would highly recommend her! -

Kayla was quick to respond and her website was comprehensive detailed options for the cake, frosting, and flavors. She was also very helpful at assisting us in choose the right flavor combination. We decided to do a very small 6" heart shape cake for $80 (no delivery fee included). We chose Red Velvet cake with buttercream filling/frosting. It was DELICIOUS! -

Our cake for our wedding turned out amazing!! Kayla took our vision and executed it to the highest degree - the look and the taste exceeded our expectations. We had a two flavor cake (Chocolate + Fudge, Almond + Raspberry) that was frosted as one massive cake - it was super fun but looked elegant. Could not recommend Kayla more! -

My sister used Kayla for her wedding a few years ago, so when I got engaged she gave me all her favorite vendors. From the very first email to the day she delivered the cake Kayla was great to work with. She responded to all my questions quickly and was very informative in our tasting appointment. My cake was beautiful. I was so excited about it. I chose a lace vintage design. And for the flavor, I chose strawberry cake and it was the best cake I've ever had. Kayla gave us tips on how to save our top tier and I can't wait to eat it on our anniversary. -

Kayla Knight Cakes is AMAZING!!! We tasted a LOT of wedding cakes before our wedding trying to find the perfect one and we couldn't find one that met our tastes and preferences until we found Kayla. She let us do a virtual tasting during the pandemic and her cakes were INCREDIBLE. We still have people talking about it and how good it tasted!!! It was beautiful and exactly what we had imagined for our special day. We plan to order a small version from her each year on our anniversary to celebrate! Highly recommend Kayla Knight Cakes for your wedding, I assure you won't be disappointed!!! -

Amazing cake, very good service
I was looking for a cake to feed 100-150 people at a decent price. The other bakers that I found while researching looked great, but cost more than my now husband and I were willing to spend. I remember doing a cake tasting with another bakery and my fiance thought the flavor was great. "This isn't it," I told him. I had a good feeling about Kayla from the start. She was very kind and considerate when I had to reschedule our tasting at the last minute. She was also very prompt with her email responses and didn't make me feel bad for asking so many questions. The cake was delicious, I knew we were at the right place when I tried it. She was very accommodating and let me make changes to our cake up until a few weeks before the wedding. The price was great. Once I finalized the details with her a few weeks prior, I set her in contact with the venue and I didn't have to think about the cake again until I saw it set up at our wedding reception. The guests loved it! We had a different flavor on each of the three tiers, one of which was chocolate with strawberry filling-a tribute to how my husband and I first met. Kayla was wonderful and her work is amazing. I highly recommend her if you want a stress-free, delicious, and cost friendly cake. -

We had a great experience from start to finish. To start, we needed to present some inspiration photos and the number of guests. Kayla was flexible about scheduling our consultation and tasting. We enjoyed the deconstructed presentation so we could truly customize to our taste. For our two-tier buttercream design, we were comfortably within budget. When picked up our cake the day of our event, it was secured and boxed for easy transport. Our guests- even the picky eaters- loved it. We’ll be back to Kayla Knight Cakes for our next event. -

Being someone who has food allergies it was extremely hard to find a baker for out wedding cake. I was turned away so many times I really started to loose hope finding a baker for our wedding until I crossed paths with Kayla. I expressed my food allergy concern with Kayla and she asked so many questions about my allergies trying to find ways to accommodate me. Being as amazing as she is, She was the only baker that was willing to accommodate my food allergy. There was never a point where I was afraid to proceed with her and was never afraid to do our cake tasting. She made me feel so incredibly safe the entire time. Most importantly I knew that my allergy was something I didn't have to worry about on my wedding day. Besides being the only person who was willing to work with me.... her cakes are DELICIOUS!!! From the moment we booked our cake tasting until wedding day I was looking forward to the red velvet cake with cream cheese filling. Kayla for sure did not make it easy for us to decide on cake flavors and fillings as everything was just simply delicious. Cake design was also exactly what I imagined it would look like, it was delivered safely and did not fall as we cut into it on our wedding day. I honestly couldn't thank Kayla enough for all she has done for us. I will for sure be booking with her for any birthdays or other events. Thank you so much for being apart of our wedding day Kayla! -

Kayla has the best tasting cakes in the area! During my first meeting, I had no idea on what I wanted my cake design to be or even a flavor in mind, but Kayla was patient and offered many tasty combinations. All of her cakes were moist and her fillings included real fruit, making it hard to decide because everything was good. Although, I decided to change my theme, Kayla was able to pull off the cake design that I asked for which was really impressive. Kayla was also super flexible on making the best cake within our budget, therefore I highly recommend Kayla Knight Cakes for any occasion. -

Kayla was so responsive and kind on day 1 of my communication with her for our August 20th wedding. I only wanted 2 cakes for our smaller 70 person wedding and I had no idea what flavors or designs to choose from, but she laid out the most helpful booklet and sheet for me and my partner to decide on. I absolutely loved the lemon cake with blueberry filling it was delicious and both I and my husband appreciate her work so much. I couldn't recommend her more for your wedding day!! -

Best cake I’ve ever tasted
Wow where do I even start. Kayla knocked it out of the park with our wedding cake. Not only did it look beautiful, it tasted amazing. We chose a layered cake with raspberry filling and buttercream icing. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. We are saving the top layer and can’t wait to eat it on our one year anniversary. I highly recommend Kayla Knight Cakes! I reached out to her only a few weeks before the wedding because my previous baker was unable to preform services because of Covid. She was very flexible with me because I lived out of town and had to travel in for the tasting. My fiancé wasn’t able to attend and she even made a to go tasting for him. On the wedding day we had an issue with the venue not being open on time. She accommodated us running late and was very gracious and understanding in what could have been a stressful situation! The cakes were delicious, the decorations were beautiful, and the customer service was great! -

From the day I noticed Kayla offered Rosewater cake as a flavor, I was so hopeful about entrusting her with a huge task on my wedding day. This task was to represent my late mom’s love through a cake. The day I celebrated my wedding was her birthday, and I focused a lot of my attention on the dessert table to make sure I felt I was properly recognizing her on such a beautiful day. Her name was Rose. Details from this rosewater flavoring of the cake, as well as the simple adornment of a single yellow rose to top it, and science decorations to surround it (she was a science teacher) helped me feel encapsulated by her presence.
I’m so proud to have delegated this big responsibility to Kayla!
Everything about Kayla’s cake will keep me recommending her for years!!! The flavors, the texture, the design, and her kindness in her service throughout were all remarkable. We’re forever grateful! -

We used Kayla Knight Cakes as our wedding baker and are so happy we did! Kayla was so easy to work with and offered many different flavor options for the cake. We had a lot of fun tasting the samples tand picking flavors for our cake. Kayla is experienced and helped us choose the appropriate cake size for our wedding. Our wedding cake turned out beautiful and delicious, and was also extremely affordable. We froze the top tier and it tasted amazing even a year later! Kayla also agreed to a custom request and whipped up some fabulous brownies and cheesecake brownies for our wedding as well. We got a ton of compliments from guests on our desserts! We look forward to special events in the future knowing that we can work with Kayla again. We highly recommend Kayla Knight Cakes! -

We hired Kayla to make our Wedding cake. It was originally for 250 people but with covid the numbers lowered to 110 guests and we kept the cake the same size. It was a 4 teir cake with chocolate, vanilla, and red velvet flavors. Extremely delicious and gorgeous! By the end of the night, there was only half of the bottom teir left which was finished off by the family the next day. Everyone loved it and was devoured so fast! Highly recommend! Kayla did such a wonderful job on both of our cakes! They were equally delicious and beautiful! She was so easy and amazing to work with. I changed my mind on what I wanted cake wise about 2 months before the wedding and she was so accommodating for all of my requests. Red velvet is my absolute favorite cake flavor and hers was AMAZING! I ate 3 pieces after the wedding in our hotel room it was that great. The vanilla with raspberry filling was super delicious too and I’m excited to eat the top on our one year!! We got nothing but compliments the day of about how good the two cakes were! I will definitely be using Kayla for all my cake needs in the future!! 100% recommend her cakes to everyone! -

Delicious cake!
Working with Kayla was awesome! We had an idea of what we wanted the cake to look like but were unsure of what flavor we wanted. Kayla was patient with us as we looked through all of the pictures she had of the many cakes she’s done and tried different flavor combinations. We opted for a simple chocolate cake with strawberry cream filling and butter cream icing. It was delicious! All of our guests complimented our cake. Kayla is awesome! 2 weeks before my wedding and I was a nervous mess, after having issues with HEB cakes we decided to cancel with HEB and find a local baker on short notice! Exactly!! I came across Kayla Knights thank you Bridal Extravaganza!! I called and Kayla answered! First impression WOW!! I was not expecting her to answer, from the first call to the tasting and placing the order, Kayla did not only meet our expectations she was available 4th of July weekend on such short notice and she nailed both of our cakes, bride and grooms cake! Cakes were so delicious, that my husband did not get to taste his groom's cake. I will be ordering his groom's cake for his birthday in October for sure!! not waiting for a year's anniversary. Kayla delivered the cake of my dreams!
Kayla did a wonderful job bringing my wedding cake vision to life. I met with Kayla at her home for a tasting and to discuss design ideas. The cake samples were so delicious and I knew I wanted her to bake the cake for our big day. We discussed a cake design together for about an hour but later that day I decided I wanted to go with a different design. Kayla was so accommodating and changed out the cake design and wrote me up a new quote. The cake she delivered on our wedding day was the most beautiful fairy tale cake of my dreams. Kayla was so wonderful to work with! When we were originally cake shopping, we went to Kayla's house to do a tasting. She was very thorough with her questions and answered any question I had. She had numerous pictures available to show me her work and we tried multiple flavors of cake which were all great. She also offers a first responder discount! My husband is an Austin Firefighter so this was very much appreciated by us. Leading up to the wedding, I had questions about cake toppers and size of cake since our overall total went up and she was always so responsive and helpful, I can't emphasize enough how important this was when you're working with so many different vendors and waiting for responses! On the day of our wedding, our cake was as close to perfect as you can get. It's exactly what I Imagined, it's as if our cake popped up off a pinterest page. I was so nervous when our cake topper came in from Etsy because it looked so small but it was the exact right size thanks to Kaylas recommendation! Our cake was not only pretty but delicious!! I've never had wedding cake that good before, we got numerous compliments and it was so yummy that we had no leftovers! I will absolutely use Kayla again in the future and can't wait to order and anniversary cake from her next year! Thank you Kayla and Team! -

Best Wedding Cakes
Kayla was such a delight to work with, she was kind, professional and very knowledgeable about cakes. Her cakes are beautiful and delicious. She was able to deliver cakes that were even simple, elegant, and beautiful. Expect a delicious, moist, flavorful cake and not just a cake that is just beautiful on the outside. We even had a slice of the cake that was saved for us after the honeymoon and it was delicious even a week later. We cannot wait to celebrate our anniversary and order a new cake. -

I am so thankful that I had met Kayla at an open house for my venue. She was extremely sweet and her cakes are yummy and moist. Kayla Knight Cakes is the way to go for your wedding cake! Trust me when I say I am a pretty picky bride, with high expectations and Kaylas cake was not only DELICIOUS..but absolutely beautiful too! We went for our first tasting to Sweet Treats because some friends recommended them to me and they were supposed to be popular. Honestly, Kaylas Cake was TEN TIMES BETTER. Not only was their quote insanely overpriced, but their cake wasn't even that good! Kayla was SOO sweet, affordable, attentive, and like I said, the cake was amazing. I had wedding guests coming up to me telling me how good the cake was. Do yourself a favor and hire Kayla for your wedding cake. You won't be disappointed. -

After some research online and meeting with other bakers, we decided on Kayla Knight Cakes for a number of reasons. Kayla was very sweet and friendly, exhibited excellent baking and artistic skills, and had quite reasonable pricing, but it was her ability to create beautiful designs in buttercream instead of fondant that sold us (we hate fondant). Additionally, she was able to recreate and match ideas I found online for the bride’s and groom’s cakes. Both cakes turned out perfect and tasted amazing, too! Thank you, Kayla!

We choose Strawberry with Cream Cheese Icing, and French Vanilla with Raspberry Filling and Cream Cheese Icing. Let's just say...we didn't come home with any cake!! Everyone loved it!! At the end of the night my mom goes "I might have had two slices...it was so good I just couldn't help myself!" The cake was great and Kayla was so great to work with!! Definitely recommend!!

We attending a tasting and although we didn’t get to try the strawberry cake we went with, we were confident enough to know that the cake would turn out great just from the few samples we tried. Kayla did an incredible job and made the bride’s and groom’s cakes look and taste better than we ever imagined! We would highly recommend her strawberry cake with cream cheese filling as well as her chocolate cake with peanut butter fudge filling :) Everything was amazing! Ashley Sent on 06/17/2018INCREDIBLY amazing! Our cake was absolutely DELICIOUS and it looked like exactly like we envisioned. We provided flowers and a photo of what we liked and Kayla nailed it. Every last bit of our cake was gone.... I'm looking forward to our anniversary so I can pull out the top layer and indulge again! You can't go wrong with any of the flavors. My favorite is the banana foster chocolate chip with a Baileys chocolate mousse filling. Can you say YUM?! Thank you for the most perfect wedding cakes. You were so flexible and understanding and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. You're a gem! XOXO.

We met with Kayla before our wedding day to share our vision for the cakes and she made them exactly how we imagined!! Some cake makers made us feel awkward and unwelcome, while I felt right at home with Kayla and very much welcome! Her cakes are great value for quality. We wanted a very simple cake and never felt pressured to add more. When we had a venue change, she lowered the delivery fee due to the closer location, which I really appreciated! The wedding cake was so beautiful and she did a great job at taking my inspiration and making it a reality. Our french vanilla and chocolate cakes with buttercream were delicious! She did a great job at decorating the cake with my florist’s blooms in a simple and elegant design. -
