About
After graduating culinary school in New York, 22 years ago, I was very fortunate to work with some of the top chefs at the Waldorf Astoria, AROC, Danielle’s in New York, Pacific East in the Hamptons and The Biltmore Hotel, Pearl Champagne Lounge (above Nikki Beach), Nemo and Pacific Time in Miami. During this period of time, I broadened my culinary skills and worked with top chefs but knew that something was missing. In 2002, I decided to bring my culinary and fine dining experience directly to the clients....defintely not a typical catering company....basically, no managers, no sales people or gimicks, no assistant chefs just Jeannetti. If you decide to call us, you will definetely reach a Jeannetti. What I came to realize is that people really receive the service and attention they deserve from a customized menu which are tailored to their culinary needs and budget which makes a world of difference. Furthermore, you will defintely have a Jeannetti at your wedding and we never book another wedding on the same date....defintely against our policy. If there are two things that you'll read about Jeannetti's is that the quality of food and service cannot be compared to others in this industry. In 2007 we made a decision to become a green company which basically means that we recycle vegetable oil to convert into bio diesel, use organic products, purchase free range chicken, exclusively use local purveyors and vendors and "mom and pop" companies to support our local economy....honestly, it's slightly a bit more but we are proud to be one of the few caterers to see the bigger picture.

Tips and Advice
Planning an event can be a daunting task.....and sometimes very emotional. Hiring a full service caterer and an event planner is your key to keeping within a budget, finding unique and out-of-this-world ideas while being involved in the planning stages and stll enjoying it. When you first tackle the task of organizing the company party, family reunion, wedding, or any other event, the task can be very mind boggling. You’re probably very anxious to run out and find a location immediately. Before you do, we’ve included some tips to help you choose your perfect place for your special event.
1. Identify some preferred dates and times.
2. Determine the total of expected guests. This is an extremely important question because you don’t want to end up with a venue that is too large or, worse yet, too small. You can prepare a preliminary guest list and discuss this with others who are also involved in organizing your event in order not to forget anyone.
3. Identify the type of occasion this will be:
· Do you prefer formal, casual or contemporary styles?
· Does the event have a theme?
· Will it be indoors or outdoors (or both)?
4. Determine the flow of the event. For example, do you want cocktails and hors d’oeuvres followed by dinner? Will there be dancing or even a presentation?
5. Identify the type of catering needed:
· Breakfast, Lunch, Brunch, Dinner, Cocktails
· Passed or stationed hors d’oeuvres
· Plated or Buffet-style Dinner
6. Budget – how much have you allocated for:
· The use of the venue
· Food
· Beverages (all alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks)
· Service – servers, bartenders, greeters
· Rentals – (chairs, tables, plates, glasses, utensils, linen, chafing dishes, dance floors)
· Other entertainment such as a DJ or even a belly dancer
· Parking – valet service or self-serve parking
7. Now you have enough information to select a venue. Here are a few questions you may ask:
· What dates and times do they have available
· Are there any restrictions on the consumption of alcohol
· Are there any restrictions on the heating of food
· Are there any restrictions on the attendance of children
· Are there any time limitations
· Is there ample parking for guests – is valet parking provided (included?)
· Is there a deposit requirement – if so, do they have a contract stipulating a cancellation policy
· The availability of nearby overnight accommodations for out-of-town guests
· Are there restrictions on décor, flower placement or candles
· Are there any restricted areas which are off-limits to guests
