What are your rates?

What kind of training do your musicians have?

All of our musicians are graduates of the finest music schools and conservatories in the United States and abroad, including, but not limited to, The Juilliard School, the Cleveland Institute of Music, the University of Southern California, and Northwestern University.

With which ensembles do your musicians perform?

Our musicians are regular performers with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Los Angeles Opera, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, San Diego Symphony and San Diego Chamber Orchestra, among others.

How many musicians can I hire?

Impresario Music can arrange performances of solo musicians of any classical instrument, small ensembles (duos, trios, quartets etc.), and large ensembles (chamber orchestra, symphony orchestra).
 

Do you accomodate special requests?

Of course!  Impresario Music makes every effort to ensure that all your musical requests are satisfied.  In cases where music needs to be transcribed or specially ordered for a performance an extra fee may apply.

What will the musicians wear to the performance?

Traditionally, dress for men is a tuxedo, white shirt, black bow tie and black shoes.   Women wear all black (pants or long skirt) and black shoes.  Special dress requests are available.

Will a musician attend my wedding rehearsal?

The musicians employed by Impresario Music have years of experience playing weddings, so a dress rehearsal is generally not needed.  Instead, the leader of the group will arrive early to the event and coordinate a few small details of the performance with the wedding coordinator or contact person to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

What is the advantage of hiring AFM musicians?

Hiring musicians that are members of the American Federation of Musicians ensures that you are receiving the highest quality musicians and that the musicians are being treated and compensated fairly.

Is a deposit required?

Yes, a 50% deposit is required with the return of your contract, and the balance is due two weeks before the performance date.
