Berit was a total dream to work with! From the first time we connected over Zoom to discuss the possibility of working together she put me so at ease with her professionalism and kindness. Berit's style is timeless and she made me, my husband, and all of our friends and family feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Berit and her team were there to capture every minute from our arrival at the venue to our final dance. She helped us through every step of the planning process (which was no easy feat with three full families to accommodate between my husband and I). Berit captured amazing candids of all of our special moments and of our friends and family. She also helped me to make some last minute decisions in the bridal suite that totally helped me look my best and feel so confident! The gallery that Berit put together for us (in an amazingly fast turn-around) was stunning and we will cherish it for years to come. Berit was one of our best wedding selections! Her and her team are so easy to work with and get the best shots of your big day. She is always very responsive and will work with any ideas you have. She even did a call with us leading up to our engagement session to help with outfit planning. I could not recommend anyone better to capture your special day!

Best In Class Wedding Photographer!!
Choosing Berit to photograph our wedding was the best decision we made! Berit and her team are unbelievably talented. Her photographs are a true work of art and something we will cherish forever. Berit captured our wedding day beautifully and uniquely, was fun to work with, and made us feel so comfortable on our big day. My husband, who dreads getting his photo taken, enjoyed working with Berit and Neil so much that he wanted to keep taking pictures rather than head to our cocktail hour!
Berit is a best-in-class photographer with many years of experience in the wedding industry, and yet she is incredibly down to earth and professional. Berit was so much more than our wedding photographer, too. She helped us plan out our wedding day timeline, and provided us with fantastic vendor recommendations and wedding planning advice whenever we needed it! Hire Berit for your wedding day!!
My favorite part about working with Berit was that she and her team were truly invisible. We have so many amazing photos from our wedding night and I can honestly say that I do not remember them being there for those moments. They were able to capture the entire night without interrupting.
Picking Berit as our photographer was one of the easiest decisions we made when planning our wedding. Berit was so personable and we could tell she genuinely cared about our preferences. It was obvious that she loved photographing weddings.
Berit was also extremely attentive to my needs throughout the day. During our long stretch of photos before the ceremony she made sure I got time to rest and have water when I was starting to feel tired. She made the 3 hours of photos in the sun painless because she was not just trying to get the shot, she was making sure I was feeling my best. Berit was the best! I strongly recommend her and I am so thankful she was our photographer on our wedding day!

Engagement and wedding photography
Berit was great to work with for our engagement shoot and for our wedding! She allowed us to incorporate our own ideas alongside hers and she was able to direct us (and our families at the wedding) to make sure we got the shots we wanted. Our wedding was during covid and she was very flexible and accommodating with our many changes in plans and safety concerns. On top of that, it rained on our wedding day, and seeing my disappointment at losing out on the outdoor photos, she offered to come back to the venue with us at a later date to do an outdoor shoot. We went back a few weeks later and got some beautiful outdoor sunset shots that we wouldn’t have gotten otherwise. Although our wedding didn’t go as planned, we are grateful Berit was there to capture our special moment with our families!

Highly Recommend Berit!
Working for Berit as a student I instantly fell in love with her photographs and her photography style. I would get so excited when new wedding photos would come in so that I could see her talent at work. I knew that when I got engaged she would be my first call to check her availability before booking a venue, because I had to have her by my side photographing the day. Her impressive talent is equally matched with her warm and giving personality. Berit is the sweetest women who makes you feel comfortable and at ease, which are key on your wedding day. Berit captured the love we share for each other and the excitement and happiness that our guests showed. Absolutely amazing - beyond our expectations in every way
Berit was amazing. You can tell she has been in the industry for as long as she has. Hire her, without a doubt. She flawlessly covered a 220 person Indian celebration on her own - not a moment or expression was missed. The gallery is beautiful and something we will forever cherish. Beyond that, she was so kind and fun to communicate with before, during and after our wedding day.

My Dream Photographer!
My Dream Photographer!
2020 has been a unique year to say the least! Planning a wedding during a pandemic and having a virtual one in the Spring and a vow renewal in the Fall was stressful. One of the bright points in all our planning was working with Images by Berit! Berit was so thoughtful in working with us at both ceremonies and put us at ease knowing she would be there no matter the circumstances.
I have 3 daughters and have been following Berit’s work for years and knew she was our dream photographer. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the photos that she sent us to review. From the beginning of the day at our home, my daughter’s wedding has been documented so beautifully and so artistically. The pre wedding photos were at two separate locations and each is as detailed as the others.
Our church has never been photographed so elegantly! The shots of my daughter walking down the aisle with her cathedral train and veil are breathtaking!
The hardest part will be selecting our favorites since they all are great! I have shared the link to family members and can’t keep up with the compliments that keep coming. As you can imagine these photos were even more important than ever as many of our family and friends were not able to join us as they couldn’t travel from out of state to NJ during the pandemic.
Berit and her assistant, Barb, captured every detail beautifully and during a pandemic, that couldn’t have been easy. She made us look great even with masks on! My daughter’s most important photo of the day that she requested was for Berit to capture the bride and groom during the fireworks display at the venue. The spectacular colors in the photos feel like you are back in person witnessing the sounds of the booms.
I have and will continue to recommend Berit and her team for the most beautiful experience of your wedding day. After your amazing day, you will be able to recapture your memories for years thanks to Images by Berit!

Wonder Wedding Photographer
We had the most amazing experience working with Berit for our engagement and wedding photos. We wound up having to do our engagement shoot in 2 parts due to rain, and Berit was so helpful in giving us tips before the second session to make the photos even better. On our wedding day, Berit was so organized and professional, but also fit in just like family. Her assistant Barb sang "baby shark" to our 1 year old niece about 100 times to get good photos. Berit was also kind enough to edit some family photos for us days after the wedding so we could gift them to our parents for Christmas. Berit is an absolute gem and we couldn't recommend her more.

Great experience with Berit!
We absolutely loved working with Berit and her team for our wedding. It started with her taking the time to really get to know us during our engagement shoot. She was patient and funny as we paraded around lower Manhattan in the summer heat. The time she took with our engagement shoot paid great dividends and shined through on our wedding day in how she worked with both of us and our families.
Her personality is absolutely contagious and makes her joy to be around...even in the 90+ degree heat we had :). She is always so enthusiastic and upbeat which goes a long way after hours of photos.
Lastly she has incredible eye for beauty and perfection. The photos she took through our wedding festivities are outstanding and we couldn’t be happier with the end result.
We highly recommend her and her team for anyone considering a photographer for their special day.
