About Us
Glyph Creative Studio is the child company of Venezuelan designer and photographer Mariana Martinis. Since her childhood, Mariana has always been influenced by her parents —both prominent architects— to love and appreciate shapes, colors, light, and more importantly, the essence of life. The years she spent surrounded by such passion in the arts encouraged her to take her first lessons in design and photography. What started as a hobby soon grew to be her passion when she discovered new techniques in her scholar years. The knowledge acquired as a graphic designer opened her possibilities to a new exciting career in photography. Since the very beginning, right after graduating as a graphic designer, photography has always being at Mariana’s side; when designing, she would take her own static photos to be used as compliment in her projects. By the time she arrived at the U.S.A., she started working in a video production company in which she was assigned the photo coverage of social events. It’s being 7 years since she started as a humble photographer, but during that time she has gained not only experience, but had have the opportunity to shoot important events and personalities. What’s interesting about Mariana’s technique is that she always mixes classic and artistic styling to obtain very unique results, bonding long-lasting relationships with her satisfied customers. Accompanied by her demonstrated charisma, creativity and originality, her camera has capture many memories from events as diverse as weddings, sweet-sixteen’s, family portraits, stills, landscapes, and artists, to mention some. One of her favorite jobs is the photography of pregnant women. She considers this to be a very special moment in which the mother connects with her yet unborn child; ‘Unique memories from an upcoming life,’ she says. |
