Amazing ART

I had the honor of having Mariana and Angel photograph my wedding . They are AMAZING and that’s an understatement . Professional , Fun , courteous , and the ability to make us feel comfortable are just a few of the amazing traits they have . I didn’t feel like I had to force or fake a smile . It was all genuine . At no point did I feel awkward . Angel was such a sweet person ! My husband had the pleasure of having him photograph his “getting ready” pictures . He was spontaneous. My husband didn’t even feel him there (even with all his gear) allowing him to flow naturally . He didn’t feel pressured at all . Mariana is such a wholesome person . I LOVE HER !!! She doesn’t overwhelm you , she gets down on the floor or wherever to get that perfect shot. She was even prepared with props! We spent hours talking in the meetings prior to the wedding because she is such an easy person to talk to. Taking the pictures was fun and they made sure they got unique shots. Before hiring her , I fell in love with her work . She has a different angle and she stands out amongst other photographers . I would hire her again in a heartbeat and I can confidently recommend her and her team to anyone ! When I received my photo album , I fell back in love with them and I vividly relived my important day one more time . AMAZING QUALITY!!! Thank you Mariana and Angel for capturing memories that will last a lifetime . It meant the absolute world to us to have you there on such an important day .

Five stars!

I loved working with Mariana and her team! She's so warm, kind, and fun, and knows exactly what she's doing. Her approach is to capture authentic moments and the results are stunning. At one point, she, her assistant, my husband, and myself, with all of their equipment, ran to get a shot with the full moon! I'd hire her again for newborn pictures!

Easy, creative and fun

We had find Mariana by referral. I was looking for someone, who makes wedding pictures with "life" in them. Unusual pics mixed with a very small amount of traditional. And oh my! We made the best choice when we made our final decision! Mariana knows her craft and she is a true professional. We had her and her assistant for the whole day - not only for 4 hours! She is very creative, attentive, patient and kind. ...and we needed patience sometimes that is for sure! Our pictures came back to us with all the joy and fun we had on our special day. All the happiness and life is in them like we wished for. Thank you Mariana!

Excellent service

One of the best decisions we could have made during the entire wedding planning process was booking Glyph Creative Studio. Not only did our pictures turn out beautifully - but she was incredibly easy to work with from beginning to end. From scheduling meetings and engagement photos, to the last minute pictures we wanted the day of the wedding, she was incredibly flexible and easy going. We highly suggest meeting with Mariana and booking her for any upcoming photo needs you may have - she's worth every penny!

Wedding photographer

Ugh I cannot say enough good things about Mariana and Mauricio. She came out to eastern long island to go over several different locations I may want to take pictures at for my wedding day and gave me her professional advice. On my actual wedding day they worked flawlessly together. They felt like part of the family! From the beginning they split up taking pictures of me and my girls and my husband and his guys. When they came together their teamwork was amazing and each had their own ideas and styles that shone through when we got our photos back. I knew Mariana was the one for me when I saw her work in person after meeting several other photographers. Her work exceeded them all! ❤❤

Mariana was great to work with! On the day of the wedding, she had a very positive and calming presence - she went with the flow of the day and took all the necessary wedding shots! She worked efficiently while still being fun to be around. Her assistant was also super helpful with trying to get everyone together for the group photos and being attentive to my husband and I .. My wife and I found Marina on the Knot. From the moment we met her at her studio, we immediately knew she was the photographer for us. Her personality is so happy and bubbly. We are both kind of shy but her friendly demeanor made it easy for us to let loose with her quickly. We absolutely loved the work she showed us and booked her on the spot.

The day of our wedding, she and her team arrived on time and were very professional. She knew exactly what to do and didn’t ask much from us. She captured us organically and didn’t force us in any uncomfortable poses. She and her team were there every step we took without skipping a beat. The day we got our photos, we were both so overcome by emotion. I can’t express how beautifully she captured our special day. What I loved best is her photo style. It is so classic, timeless and detail oriented. We know we will look back on these photos 10, 30, 50 years from now and not have that “wow how dated” thought. All our details and guest were not forgotten either. And as if she wasn’t amazing enough, she kept in constant contact with the venue and MC, and helped make sure she stayed a step ahead of what is going to happen.

I will definitely be referring Mariana and her team to anyone who is looking for a wedding photographer. She is simply the best!

Mariana is a great photographer. She is extremely personable, friendly and she just puts you at ease during the photos. She's very flexible and never pushed to do anything that we didnt want to do. She is on time, she follows up with you ahead of time to figure out what youre looking to do and best of all, shes very reasonably priced! We absolutely loved our photos and in the end, she gave us a beautiful keepsake and a USB of all our photos. I definitely definitely recommend.

With all the stress of planning a wedding, it was always such a joy to meet with Mariana! It is impossible to talk with her and not have a big smile on your face when you leave. Her photography for both our engagement photoshoot and you wedding pictures were nothing short of amazing. Even in inclement weather (rain for our engagement, and snow for our wedding) Mariana is in high spirits, making any situation into a beautiful event. It was a privilege to get to know her, and it is a joy that I have such beautiful photographs to commemorate this happy event in my life.

Mariana and her assistant were so tentative and personable. It felt like having friends at my wedding! They came as we were getting ready and stayed until we walked out the door. Mariana is now family. She is amazing! Our first review was a 4.6, but after speaking with Mariana about some questions and concerns we had, she cleared everything up and we couldn't be more satisfied. It was our lack of communication that prevented us from getting everything we wanted and once we spoke up, Mariana immediately responded. If you don't hire Mariana, you are making a huge mistake!

Mariana and her team were great. She was great before hand. Always organized. Always quick to respond. She was great the day of. Worked with venue and other vendors. Mariana made my wedding very special. My husband and I are impressed with her professionalism and helping make my wedding awesome. The photography and videos were amazing. Mariana was one of the most amazing parts of my wedding. She was every where, all day. All aspects of photos on the day of our wedding were so much fun. She made it fun.

Me and my now wife were originally using my wife's sister as our photographer but 2 days before the wedding she had pregnancy complications and had to back out, that left us in a very stressful situation, but a quick call to our videographer put us in touch with Marianna and what a blessing that was! Not only was she available but she made everything very easy and smooth for 2 days notice. We had our ceremony in central park in late fall which made for some amazing pictures, Marianna took what seemed like a million pictures, all the traditional with families as well as some very fun pictures. As for the reception she continued her amazing work, it seemed like every time there was a special moment happening she was right there snapping away capturing the memories, we could not be any happier with her services and are thrilled to have had her part of our big day.

The best decision we made for our wedding was asking Mariana to be our photographer. We first used her for our engagement photos and had a blast. My husband and I are a little awkward when it comes to taking pictures, but she made us feel comfortable and it was such a fun experience!! We ended up with absolutely stunning, artistic photos for both the engagement and wedding pictures. We received endless compliments!! I am so happy that Mariana was able to capture the love and joy on our special day, the pictures truly show it. We initially were going to skip getting a photographer for our wedding, but after all our married friends told us we'd regret it, we found Mariana- and I'm so glad we did! Our whole experience with her was fantastic. She had some great ideas for photos, which was important as our venue did not have a place to take photos after the ceremony. She had lots of suggestions for us but was also open to any changes or ideas we had too. She also offers her own photo booth services now too, which I highly recommend- what's a wedding without a photo booth? :) Communication with her was easy as well- she always got back to us in a very timely manner with any answers to our questions (one of the few vendors we worked with who I can say that about!). We also found her rates to be extremely reasonable. If we ever find ourselves needing photography services again, we will not hesitate to contact Mariana!

Mariana and her business, Glyph Creative Studio, were referred to us by the knowledgeable team at Aurora Gallery in Astoria (where we held our wedding after-party). From the moment we met Mariana to review wedding invitation samples, schedule our 'engagement' photo shoot, and discuss her mainline photography services, we knew we had found the perfect partner for our special day. Mariana designed a stunningly beautiful wedding invitation (incl. response and thank you cards), the design for which our cake baker applied to our cake--and that looked great, too! She shot a lovely set of engagement photos, outside on a crisp spring day--with her then-newborn baby close by!--and that's when we learned firsthand how she works and what a superb eye for detail and fun she has. Then, on our big day, Mariana came to my (the bride's) place and her assistant Diego went to the groom's place to take candid stills and totally put us both at ease from the beginning. They knew exactly where to be for the key moments leading up to the ceremony, and for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception--and of course, during our amazing after-party at the Aurora Gallery! The proofs came to us with great speed, giving us ample time to choose our faves, and our final albums were delivered in short order, coming out beautifully. We have recommended Mariana to friends and cannot say enough about her professionalism, personality and passion for her work. If you are in the NYC area, you can't do better than working with Mariana and Glyph Creative Studio.

Glyph Creative studio is amazing! Upon first meeting Mariana my husband and I knew that she would be the one to photograph our wedding. I met Mariana the night my husband and I signed our contract at the Aurora Gallery with Naeema. We planned our wedding in 65 days and Mariana was heaven sent (thanks Naeema). She sat with us and was able to capture our personalities. She was very easy going and eased my nerves considering the time spent in planning. She made suggestions of the first look pictures and worked with us considering the 40-degree weather. I can say Mariana is amazing. We felt comfortable working with her and her team, as well as our family and friends. She was able to capture all the special moments at our wedding. We were happy to see our pictures and video. Everyone always says how stressful planning a wedding can be. All I can say is work with the right people. Mariana was literally the answer to my prayers. She took beautiful photos and was really nice and so easy to work with. Her assistant was also fantastic. They were never in the way, they helped us with everything, and were always smiling and laughing, which made us smile and laugh.
Seriously before freaking out about finding a great photographer, I really suggest you call her first. When I look at my photos it really brings me back to the day and how magical and wonderful it was. I can't tell you what to do but I really would say you should call her, she is hands down the most professional and best person to work with.

My wife and I used Mariana and her team as our Photographer, Videographer, and Photo Booth. It was the best decision we made other than tying the knot. Mariana who cleared her schedule to meet with us, was amazing to work with and brainstorm ideas. She was amazingly creative and passionate about her work and the work of her team. We felt at ease the entire first look and all throughout the wedding night. Diego, whom works with Mariana spent the entire day with the Groomsmen and fit-in like family. He captured amazing shots that were completely natural, not acted, with beautiful backdrops. The photo booth as expected was a monster hit. The props were amazing, and the quality of the photo slides on sight were great. My advice to anyone viewing this, book with Mariana and this studio asap, as her prices were the best my wife and I seen for all 3 services. My wife and I used Mariana and her team as our Photographer, Videographer, and Photo Booth. It was the best decision we made other than tying the knot. Mariana who cleared her schedule to meet with us, was amazing to work with and brainstorm ideas. She was amazingly creative and passionate about her work and the work of her team. We felt at ease the entire first look and all throughout the wedding night. Diego, whom works with Mariana spent the entire day with the Groomsmen and fit-in like family. He captured amazing shots that were completely natural, not acted, with beautiful backdrops. The photo booth as expected was a monster hit. The props were amazing, and the quality of the photo slides on sight were great. My advice to anyone viewing this, book with Mariana and this studio asap, as her prices were the best my wife and I seen for all 3 services. Her "stress-free" demeanor and patience helped make the planning process seamless and our big day one to remember!

We won an engagement photo session with Glyph Creative Studio at a bridal showcase, and weren't really sure what to expect. Mariana was beyond professional and treated us like paying clients. She was very committed to learning more about us so she could take pictures that had meaning. She helped me choose a location that was significant to our relationship and suggested that we do sunset/night shots. She even suggested we bring our pup!
On the day of we still weren't quite sure what we were going to get, but Mariana gave us a full engagement photo session and was incredibly committed to getting great creative shots! She had infinite patience with our dog, and even stood out in the cold and wind waiting for the sun to set so we could get perfect nighttime shots!
We weren't planning on getting engagement photos taken, but we are so glad we had the opportunity to work with Mariana, we couldn't be happier with the results!

Mariana was so wonderful to work with, she's outgoing, expressive, quick and very talented. When I first started looking for a photographer I was being extremely picky. I met with quit and few photographers. I wanted a certain style and I wanted to feel comfortable with the people who were going to spend the entire day by my side on my wedding day. Mariana and Glyph photography were absolutely amazing. Mariana and Diego arrived on time. They captured moments at my wedding. They are not the type of photographers that are going to drag you around making you take this picture and that picture. They let you "be you" and captured all these moments and emotions. My friends and family have been raving, about how amazing my pictures came out. I litterly cried when I saw the my pictures. Mariana's work and personality in one word SPECTACULAR!

My husband and I took our engagement pictures in one of the hottest days of the summer and we were sweating our butts off. BUT she still captured so many BEAUTIFUL shots. I knew when it came to the wedding day that I could trust her judgement to get FABULOUS pictures.

Her company provided a photo booth with props and it was a hit with our guests. The one major thing that really impressed everyone was the interview video. My husband is very shy and I could see in the video how comfortable he was with Mariana with the stories he told her. It really captured a great summary of who my husband and I are as a couple. It was extremely professional! All the guests were impressed by the video because it was more than just the cliche baby picture slide show of the bride and groom. Her work is CREATIVE, UNIQUE and GENUINE. She's got a personality that makes you SMILE!

BOOK HER NOW or you will regret it. My husband and I love her so much! We can't wait to work with her again. God willing in the next two years when my husband and I re-book her to take baby pictures for us. I already know now I'm guaranteed GREATNESS!

After my fiancé and I had spoken to over ten photographers I thought I would never find anyone I felt comfortable with until I met Mariana she was definitely like an angel sent from above. The minute we spoke to her I knew that I wanted her as my photographer. Mariana is a gem if I could give her a thousand stars I would.
On the day of, she was amazing. She went above and beyond with everything she did. She got to the hotel early, got so many shots in, our first look went so smooth. At our reception she spot great "moments" Mariana moves like lightning there were times that people were taking pictures with their phones and she literally flew across the hall and caught it! Both Mariana & Diego are great at catching memorable facial expressions, moments in time, awesome dance moves... they seemed to really get us and know what we'd want to remember. Mariana was quick to respond to emails texts etc..., organized, and beyond helpful. She knew how keep everyone in line, keep me sane, and get all the key shots. She also seemed like the best bang for your buck from what we saw out there! The best part of the whole experience was the end result. We got a hard drive of the photos within 3 weeks, which apparently is unheard of in the photography world, and every picture is just phenomenon. She does not push any of her products on us, but I’m planning on getting.
We can't thank Mariana and Diego enough!

I was recommended Glyph Creative Studio after a friend was recently married & had an amazing experience working with Mariana. After my fiancé and I met Mariana we knew we wanted her to capture our Wedding day also, Mariana and Diego were both outstanding photographers throughout our whole day. I met Mariana at a networking event and noticed her taking pictures. I asked her if she did weddings, and she so openly said "of course!". I was really nervous she was going to charge me a lot of money, but she was so so reasonable.

If I could have given Mariana 17 stars I would have. After I found her at the initial meeting, she came to my apt, met my fiancee and I and discussed the products she had. She was so nice, told us about her wedding experience. We are a mixed race couple (Indian and White), and she loved that.

The day of, she was amazing. She went above and beyond with everything she did. She came early, got so many shots in. I was running late getting ready and she still managed to get every shot in. When we got to the venue before the ceremony, it was her first time there, but no problem. She figured out the angles in the 5 minutes she had to figure it out and she did it!

Furthermore, everyone at the party loved her! Not only was she working hard, she apparently was pleasant to the guests as well. I never heard the end of it how much everyone loved her, from my parents, aunts, friends, friends on my husband's side-everyone commented on how much they loved her.

The best part of the whole experience was the end result. She gave us a CD of the photos within 2 weeks, which apparently is unheard of in the photography world, and every picture was just phenomenon. She never pushed her products on us (which we are planning to get), she was affordable, lovely and her work is out of this world.

Do yourself a favor and hire Mariana. She is worth every penny and more.

We contacted Mariana on Weds. evening for an impromtu wedding at Flushing Meadow Park, Queens, NY scheduled for Friday afternoon. She was so very helpful from the very beginning, making a suggestion about the best hour to schedule the ceremony so as to take advantage of the outdoor light. She was creative, patient and thorough. Her photos were wonderfully detailed and vibrant. The pictures of the children in attendance were incredible. She knew, without being told or directed who to focus her camera on; we have so many special pictures. She did our ceremony and reception. She did our Thank You/Announcement cards-incredible. I met Mariana after I had already had booked my photographer for my wedding. However, when I spoke with her she mention a video interview for the wedding during the reception. Usually DJs will have a collage of pictures during dinner but this was different it was 10 minute or so of the couple interview plus the collage of pictures. Mariana was very easy to work with and she interviewed my husband and I separately so we didn' know what were our answers. The day of our wedding, the video was a hit! everyone loved it none have ever seen something like that in a wedding. People want to have copies of our video and want to copy the idea for their own wedding. The way was edited was awesome! cause the two versions for the same question in one. Our video was pretty funny cause my husband is funny. I would recommend the video and Mariana to any bride if you want a good quality video and something special for your wedding.

What I liked about this photographer was that she listened to everything I wanted for my pictures. She had patience and was enthusiastic at all time regardless of how moody and nervous I was with the wedding. The quality of the pictures exceeded my expectations. I didn't had a video (because I was stupid) and I regret not having one but the only thing that gives me peace about this is that the pictures are truly amazing and captured pretty much every moment of my wedding. I called the photographer for all the crazy questions that I could of have...and she always answered my phone calls and treated me as her first priority. It was first class service all the way. I think that the price it was low for how much I put her thru (lol)... with This company you are gonna get QUALITY, QUALITY, and QUALITY. Pictures are simply gorgeous.

If you are looking for a Patience, and very Easy going photografer she is the one.
She is very professional, well organized and very easy to work with. We were freezing the wind blowing,but we got so many
gorgeous picture.
I would highly recomend her.

Marina did my wedding in the church in new york then flew to the dominican republic and she worked for 4 days for us and always had a smile and was professional. After all was said and done i had 3 usb full of over a thousand pictures at an affordable price. My pictures had a very artistic feel to to them and my friends and family always compliment my pictures. I thank mariana for knowing exactly what i wanted and delivering with a smile.i would recomend her to anyone.

We had our wedding this past June and to sum it up Mariana and her Glyph photography/video team worked hard non-stop throughout the entire event. We met Mariana approx. 6 months prior to our wedding. Glyph was the last studio we visited. We did not like the other photographers because they did not provide the level of interaction we were seeking from a photographer in the planning process and post-event photo editing/selection stage. Mariana from Glyph was able to deliver that because she takes immense interest in bringing your photographic visions to life. There were numerous occasions where we spent an evening at Marianas office discussing with her what type of photos we wanted for our wedding, viewing her portfolio, and listening to her suggestions. The day of the event we had 3 video/photographers and also a photo booth. The Glyph team was there on time at 10 in the morning and worked hard until midnight. They were there for all of the special moments that we will now be able to cherish with the beautoful photos they had taken. The photos of our wedding are very professional looking, it will amaze you! We also had our engagement shoot with Glyph. Mariana and her crew made us feel so comfortable taking phtos in Central Park even though we are somewhat shy people. The photos were magical, which Mariana used to produce into a guest book for our wedding. Overall, Mariana offers a complete line of services. The best thing about choosing Glyph is that Mariana made us feel like she was a part of our wedding night and not just like she was there to simply make money. Mariana offers a very personal experience and you can tell that she was extremely excited to shoot our wedding, it was not just another job for her.

Thank you Mariana for being our photographer. We will definetely be seeing you in the future. We don't need to look for anyone else.

I have never met anyone like Mariana. Not only was she our photographer but she turned out to be the vision behind our wedding. I loved our pictures and how engaged she was. Thank you Mariana! We love you!

I am glad I chose Mariana for my wedding. Mariana gave me an affordable package (engagement pics, wedding pics, thank you cards, photobooth (unlimited), album) for a good price. Mariana and her crew were very professional. I believe that Mariana went above and beyond for our engagement shoot and wedding. Mariana and her crew were very creative and professional.

At the wedding, Mariana was with me from the start taking pictures of everything and anything! which I loved because as a bride you really miss small little details and Mariana made sure to capture those moments. Mariana brought sparklers to the wedding (which was her idea). The photos came out really NICE like amazing....and the album just saw a preview and it was beautiful...which I decided to upgrade! The photobooth was an amazing idea! Everybody loved it!! and the guests are still talking about it! :D They were happy that they were able to take home the photobooth strips!

I will definitely be coming back to Mariana for my One year anniversary photo shoot! TRUST ME! you will not regret booking with Mariana. She is very professional, sweet, hardworking and creative. She also has an amazing crew as well.

It was a pleasure working with Mariana & Glyph. She created a beautiful wedding albumn for us and provided us with everything promised. She even brought one more photographer to our wedding than discussed. She is very creative; she took engagement pictures of us in a park while it was raining and it came out great.
I would highly recommend Glyph Creative Studio.

Marianna took beautiful photos at The Conservatory in Central Park. We had won the engagement photo session in a raffle and even though it was free, she was still professional, courteous and attentive. Thank you Marianna for your quirky and modern photos. We would have loved you for our wedding day if we weren't already booked.

I went to so many places trying to find the best photographer and when I spoke to Mariana I knew she was the best. She is an artist because she do what she loves the best, which is photography, her job. She knows how to capture the best moments of your life and give you the best memories; having so much patiente and working with you at all moments, specially on that day that you are so stress. I'm being working with her since she did my wedding pictures, doing also my family pictures, including X-mas cards and most recently my newborn memories. If you are looking for someone who can catch the best moments she is the one without a doubt.

Disappointing experience

We had engagement photos done through glyph and were hoping to hire them for the wedding, as well. We will absolutely not be using them for the wedding. The photo quality was good, however she made no real attempt to get to know us as a couple. She had her go to shots that she wanted to do and that was all. My main complaint is that the photographer was disorganized and blamed her assistant for all of her mistakes. They were late to the shoot, then arrived at the wrong location and we had to walk to find them. Then we were promised the photos would be ready to make our selections in 2 weeks...it took about 4. I kept emailing to ask when they might be ready and she kept giving me a date and then that date would come and go and still no photos. Finally when they were ready, we selected the 10 we wanted to have fully retouched. She did this fairly quickly, but only sent us the final edits with the watermark still on the corner of the photos. I emailed her asking for the photos without the watermark as we wanted to use them for the Save the Dates. She blamed her assistant for the mistake and said she would upload the correct photos either Saturday or Sunday. Yet again, the weekend came and went and we still had no photos. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience.
