What is Gilmore Catering?

The Gilmore Collection Catering Department has built a reputation as West Michigan's preferred and most trusted caterer by employing over a decade of experience. We employ only most creative, knowledgeable, and courteous event coordinators, culinary staff and servers. There is no event too large, too intimate or too specialized for our talented team to handle. We have options for all budgets and have received critical acclaim. The B.O.B.

The B.O.B. (an acronym for Big Old Building) is located in downtown Grand Rapids. The 70,000-square-foot, four- story, red brick building was constructed in 1903 as Judson's grocery warehouse. It stood vacant for decades before The Gilmore Collection began its transformation, saving it from demolition.

Event spaces include:

Top of the B.O.B. - This spacious room, decorated with deep reds and browns is perfect for an intimate reception. Seats up to 350 guests.

Eve at the B.O.B. - The newest, most modern, freshest place in the B.O.B. This space can accomodate up to 180 guests for a seated dinner.

Crush - Crush provides the perfect venue for those events in need of a relaxed, exotic, and big city atmosphere. This space can hold up to 200 guests for a cocktail feel event.

Monroe Room - Perfect for a networking business party, this space can accomodate 80 guests.

The Bottle Lodge - Private area perfect for small parties and dinners such as bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinners and business meetings. This space can accomodate up to 40 seated guests.
