About
Keith and Michele Freeman, Owners of

At Freeman’s, we travel anywhere you need us to be.  Once the cake is gone and the music fades away, our portraits will be the only thing left to help you remember the love that you shared on this special day.  We started our business because we wanted to provide professional portraits at affordable rates.  We know how much time and planning you are putting into your wedding and we want your day to be perfect.  That is why we are more than photographers.  We are out there every weekend seeing the best... and the worst.  We can give you advice on quality vendors and good timelines to get the most for your money.  Take our experience and use it to your advantage.  It’s your day, and we want it to be the best day of your life!

I have worked with Keith and Michelle from Freeman's Photography now for over 4 years. Their attention to detail and commitment to their brides and grooms never ceases to amaze me. On a once in a lifetime day, they capture the shots that other photographers just don't see or miss altogether. As a wedding entertainer who commits himself to creating wonderful memories for my brides and grooms, I know that my clients memories are preserved for a lifetime with the unique, creative artistry captured by Freeeman's Photography. As Michigan's only Wedding Entertainment Director, I highly recommend them.

Tips and Advice

Ø  Tips to make your day go smooth and to get the most for your money:

o   Check with the church and make sure that we can start shooting 2 hours before the ceremony and if we can have the church for an hour after the ceremony.

o   Have the florist there 2 hours early.  If the flowers are not there on time, we cannot start pictures on time.

o   Please make transportation arrangements for 45 minutes to an hour after the ceremony ends.  This way you are not paying for a limo to sit in the parking lot.

o   Do a grand entrance with introductions instead of a grand march.  Everyone is together and mostly sober.  If you wait until later in the evening it can take over 30 minutes to organize everyone and most people in the wedding party have been celebrating quite a bit.

o   Cut your cake before dinner.  This will allow the cake to be cut while people are eating and will allow it to be served directly after dinner.  This will eliminate having 100 slices of cake going to waste.

o   Do maid of honor and best man toasts during dinner.

o   Mingle when you have finished eating.  This will allow you the time to dance with family and friends later in the evening.

o   Have the DJ do your festive activities early in the evening while you have a group to watch and participate.  We’ve seen too many times when they have waited for the garter and bouquet and the dollar dance and there have only been a few people left to participate.  We’re with you until 10:00 so it’s not like we’re trying to get out early.

o   The most important tip of all… Have fun and let your entire planning take its course.  It’s your day and we’re here to help it go smooth!
