By appointment only, I welcome the opportunity to meet with you in my home to discuss your cake needs. Bring photo's of cake designs that you just love, your fiance, and an open mind.
 
What are your tasting hours?
Because most of my brides/grooms have normal 8-5 jobs ... I offer appointments in the evening (7:00p) and some weekends. I am however available to meet during the day, if you are.
 
Describe how you price, such as by slice or by tier, for your cakes?
Wedding cakes are charged by the slice. Groom cakes are charged by the design
 
Does the price include the top tier of the cake?
Yes, the price includes the top tier .. and as an added bonus, for those brides who sign with me, I offer to re-create their top layer as my gift to them on their first anniversary ... so you don't have to worry about eating a cake that's been sitting in your freezer for a year (YUK).
 
Do you offer custom cakes, or do you work with pre-designed styles?
The favorite part of my job is meeting the brides and designing their dream cake ..... I love customizing cakes, and welcome all pre-designed ideas/styles.
 
On average, how far in advance of the event do you prepare the cake?
It takes me approximately 6 days to create your wedding cake .... but then again, it all depends on the size of your cake, and my weekend schedule.
 
How many cakes do you schedule for a typical weekend?
I often create and deliver more than one wedding cake on a given day, but the timing has to work perfectly. I'm a one-person operation and need to be able to get me and your cake safely from one point to another.
 
Will you work with the client's florist to garnish the cake?
I almost always will place the flowers on my cake creations .. but certainly if the florist wants to take that task on, she/he is more than welcome ... but I will be there watching and ready to repair the cake just in case a flower falls down and disturbs the cake design.
 
What (if any) cake accessories, such as a cake stand or cake cutter, do you rent out?
I have a variety of different sized plateaus.
 
Do you offer delivery? If yes, how much is your average delivery fee?
Certainly, I deliver and set up your cake. My delivery fees start at $60.
