How do you
identify your primary photographic style?
We are very much a mix in styles. We enjoy shooting more photojournalistic than anything else, but can and will do traditional as well. |
Please describe
any special techniques you offer:
We offer several "Image Enhancements" with our services. Hand tinting, Sepia, Select Color, Boarders, etc. |
Which lighting
situations do you have experience with?
We have experience with several lighting situations...from extremely harsh noon day sun in Phoenix, AZ, to soft twinkle lights at night and overcast rainy days. We are fully capable of adapting to most any situation. |
Do you have a
media preference?
We are fully digital as of October 2006. |
How many
photographers do you work with?
We only have the two of us. My husband, Steven, and myself are the owners and photographers. |
Do you
guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Nothing in life is a guarantee. We could be walking down the street and get hit by a bus or struck by lightening...but those are really the only things that would ever keep us away from a scheduled event. An act of God or complete tradgedy would have to interfer to keep us away. |
Do you
sometimes book yourself for more than one wedding in a day?
NEVER! We try to only book one and only one wedding per weekend. This allows us time to be there at the rehearsal if you want, and to spend the full day with you if you want. Since there is just the two of us, you get our sole attention on your wedding day. |
Do you have a
replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on
the wedding day?
We do have some other photography friends that are more than happy to step in if an emergency should arise. They are all more than capable of doing wedding photography, and have impecable portfolios. |
What kind of
equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Two cameras, Two Flash units, 3-4 lenses, and Six 2GB memory cards...plus more odds and ends. |
Do you bring
back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Sometimes, but we usually test our equipment fully the day before to prevent such a situation. We do have a back up camera, but have never needed to use it. |
Do you charge
hourly or full day?
Both! We have three wedding packages that offer different amounts of photography time for your wedding event, PLUS we also offer brides and grooms the opportunity to create their own wedding package and choose their own hours for us to be there. A custom package will be charged at an hourly rate. |
If hourly, are
you available for shooting overtime? If so, how much do you
charge for overtime?
$100/hour for overtime |
Do you require
a meal break? If yes, do you require that the wedding party
provide your meal?
Yes. In our contract, we do specify that any event over 6 hours in length will require meal provisions to our staff. This is to be provided by the client, and usually we take turns eating so that one is always shooting pictures. |
How many breaks
do you usually take throughout the day?
Usually just one for a meal, and maybe two others for potty breaks. |
Do you charge
for travel?
Yes. We charge for mileage and lodging outside of the Las Vegas Metro area. |
How soon after
the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Proofs are usually available for viewing and ordering within 7 days. |
In what format
are the initial proofs offered?
Online. |
How long can
the couple keep the proofs?
The proofs are available online for FREE for 30 days. If more time is needed, we can extend that timeframe for as long as you wish. |
Do you retain
the copyright for the photos?
Yes. We do offer a Negative Release to allow the clients the right to have all their images and print them where ever they wish. However, we still retain full copyright/ownership of the originals.
|
Do you reserve
the right to publish the photos?
Yes. |
Do you provide
the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the
negatives) to the couple?
Yes, but only for the purpose of printing. |
Will images be
available for viewing on an online gallery?
Yes. |
What kind of
albums do you offer?
We offer an 8x8 Custom Memory Book, as well as a 10x10 leather bound Wedding Album. |
When will I get
the final book?
Wedding Albums can take up to 2 months to receive back from the vendor we use.
Custom Memory Books can be ready for pick up within 2 weeks of ordering. |
