This depends on what my client is looking for, it's not about what I do, it's about what they want!
 
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?
We tend to ask our clients to give us 6 to 10 songs that the MUST hear at their event. The reasoning behind that is simple. We WANT you to hear them! You're going to be busy talking to your family and friends, so when we see you near the dance floor, that's when we'll play your MUST play's.
 
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
The only time we would ask that of you is after we have exhausted all efforts in locating the song.
 
How many other DJs do you work with?
In addition to Dave Sehl, there are two additional entertainers. Both of which had to pass the "Dave Sehl" standards to be able to represent DNA Entertainment.
 
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
5 hours for weddings
 
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Most definitely! We want YOU to know who will be at your event before you sign anything.
 
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
No, we do not. However, we have a wide variety of international and/or ethnic music.
 
Can the client submit a do-not-play list?
YES, YES, YES!!!
 
Do you bring your own equipment?
100%. If your DJ does not bring their own equipment, how can the fix it if there is a problem????
 
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
Up Lighting, Custom Projected Monograms, etc.
 
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
You are not responsible for our set-up or break-down time. Once we know the start time of the event, we arrange to be set-up before your first guest arrives. The facilities Do not need to provide a table or anything we come with everything we need.
 
Do you have any extra space requirements?
No
 
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
We do not display ANY signs or banners at out events! It's not about us, it's about our clients.
 
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
We do emcee but we don't talk between every song.
 
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?
I would focus on my talent on my ability to read a crowd and change the style of music.
 
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
No, we don't take breaks and if the clients opts to provide us with a meal, it is greatly appreciated.
 
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
Since we don't take breaks, not an issue.
 
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
There are 3 entertainment specialist at DNA Entertainment so back-up is available if needed.
 
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?
No we do not.
 
What is your overtime rate?
This is determined by the availability of the entertainer, time of day and location of the event.
 
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
We do charge travel for outside a 60 mile radiuse of Norwalk Ohio (44857)
 
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
The standard rate of retainer is roughly 33% of the event agreement.
