About

Traditionally Elegant To Uniquely Modern

Located in Clarendon, Arlington's hippest neighborhood, this 1930's Art Deco style ballroom
offers posh atmosphere, incomparable event cuisine, subtle and attentive service, and a stress-
free planning process with experienced and creative event coordinators. Our careful planning
insures that your reception unfolds effortlessly.

The Clarendon Ballroom is a full service event and banquet facility established in 2000.  The
brain child of local restaurant and hospitality entrepreneurs, the upscale art deco ballroom has
stormed onto the Washington event scene and has hosted some of the area's most memorable
weddings, fundraisers, and events.  Compliments consistently center on the impeccable quality
of the food, the attentive and cheerful service, and the posh feel of the period setting.

About The Chef...

Executive chef Patrick Crump hails from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America and has
worked in such nationally renowned establishments as The Homestead, Jimmy Sneed's The
Frog and the Redneck, Patrick O'Connell's The Inn at Little Washington, and The Ashby Inn.
As with any special occasion, the food should reflect the taste and preferences of the hosts. Our
catering staff is happy to create new and unique menus for special occasions and welcomes the
suggestions and requests of our clients.

This amount is applied to the total cost of Client’s final invoice and is non-refundable if Client cancels within 180 days of the event. A deposit of an additional (65%) of the billing estimate is due 90 days prior to the event. Do you provide a tasting?
We do provide a tasting upon booking. We do about 6 tastings a year on either a Wednesday evening or Saturday afternoon. Our tastings run through a selection of hors d’oeuvres and sparkling wine and goes straight to a first course selection, typically two main courses and our house wines and ends with a selection of our decadent wedding cakes. We have large group tastings that basically run through an entire evening of service. Any specific individual tastings may be arranged with your event planner.
