Kelley Lynn Freeman is a graduate of Shepherd University with a degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Radio and Television. She pursued a career in radio where she hosted the Morning Drive Show on Maryland’s WQHQ FM. She entered the Hospitality industry fifteen years ago. Spending several years with Hotels, in 1996 she opened the Dave & Buster’s as a special event, marketing and public relations manager for their 60,000 square foot complex located in North Bethesda, Maryland. From 1998 to 2003, Kelley served as the Catering Sales Manager and wedding specialist for the historic Watergate Hotel in Washington, DC. During her tenure Kelley hosted some of the world’s most famous people including First Lady Laura Bush, the King and Queen of Sweden, foreign ambassadors and Fortune 500 company leaders. In 2004 Kelley started her own company Carte Blanche, LLC Fine Events, where she plans social, corporate and specializes in weddings for her clients in the metropolitan area.  She recently just finished her first wedding in Colorado.
Kelley is the immediate past regional one vice president serving on the National Board of NACE for six years and is an active member of the International Special Events Society and the Women of Washington. She is active in a number of philanthropic and charitable organizations including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She resides in Washington, DC with her husband Mark and there pug Finnegan.
