Congratulations on your engagement! If you are searching for the perfect wedding minister, look no further.  My name is Rev, Guadalupe Arrieta, and I am the owner of California Dream Weddings, because I can make your wedding day dreams come true.

I have been married for 25 years and I can tell you, at least from my experience, that finding that special someone is one of the greatest gift you'll ever receive. The happiness and joy you'll experience, is by far, greater than any other life experience you'll encounter. I want your day to be memorable and the most important decision you have to make in planning your wedding is choosing the person to whom you will entrust the most significant and memorable event of your life.

I am an ordained minister in the Universal Life church and will perform civil, traditional, non-religious or religious ceremonies truly unique and tailored to you. I travel to whatever venue you select and will accommodate for any number of guest you invite. I can perform beautiful ceremonies in English and Spanish.

Are you willing to perform a ceremony at a non-religious site?
Yes, I will work at any site/venue you select. I beleive God is everywhere, so it doesn't really matter if we are in a hotel, restaurant or on a sandy beach. I will make your wedding a California Dream Wedding. I can perform your ceremony in either English or Spanish.
 
Are you flexible in the wording used throughout the ceremony, including the vows?
Yes. Each ceremony I perform is tailored to you. I develop a draft,email it to you, make the appropriate changes and have the couple give me their stamp of approval before the ceremony. I'm confident it will be perfect before I deliver it. I always incorporate the couples own vows right into the ceremony. Since everyone is so prepared, it makes for a more relaxed ceremony.
 
Do you allow the couple to write their own vows, if desired?
Yes, absolutely I encourage them to write their own vows, but sometimes they need a little help> I am always available to give them suggestions and even send them samples. That always helps to get them started on their own.
 
Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose?
Yes, I have a list if religious readings and also some romantic poems for the couples to choose from.
 
Do you require that premarital counseling be done?
no, But I do offer some counseling and marital advice of my own. I've been married 25 years, and the advise I give comes from life experience. I'm also a parent as well, parenting advise is also provided.
 
Are you willing to perform pre-ceremony rehearsals?
yes, I always attend the pre-ceremony rehearsals, if their is no coordinator, I will assist the party in "lining up" and advising the party of their proper positions.

What To Expect

EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED!

A short (30 to 45 minute) NO OBLIGATION interview:
*Meet at a mutually convenient location.
*Talk about your (California) Dream Wedding
*Brainstorm ideas and share suggestions.
*See sample ceremony texts.

DRAFTS AND EDITS of the ceremony script:
*Research will be provided through resource libraries, references, and community.
*Edit or change as you wish, until you give final approval.
*Final draft will be emailed to you , so that you will know ahead of time how the ceremony should "flow".

REHEARSAL if applicable:
*Held at ceremony venue with prior arrangement.
 

DAY OF CEREMONY:
*Arrival at venue 30 minutes before start of ceremony.
*Consultation with musicians, video/photographers, caterers, venue/event staff, family members, etc. as needed.
*Mic and amplified speaker.
*Performance of ceremony.

Can you perform cermonies in other languages?

I can perform ceremonies in English, Spanish or Bilingual for those who prefer a little of both. 


WILL THERE BE ADDITIONAL FEES TO INCORPORATE OTHER ELEMENT(s)?

No, I dont charge extra to incorporate the sand ceremony or unity candle into your ceremony. Many Ministers or Officiants charge additional fees for each and every element added to your ceremony. Why pay more?
