Couldn't have asked for a better Rabbi
We had a small but beautiful pandemic wedding by the sea. Rabbi Heather Miller was our officiant and we were so lucky to have found her. Not only did she work with us to plan our wedding on super short notice, but she welcomed us as an interracial, interfaith couple with open arms.
Our conversations with Rabbi Miller prior to the wedding made us feel seen, heard, and confident about our big day. I was pleasantly surprised how deep and enlightening the conversations were, even over video chat.
Our wedding day was pretty stress-free, especially since we rehearsed the ceremony prior to our big day with Rabbi Miller. We discussed the meaning and relevance of what we wanted to include, and Rabbi Miller explained everything clearly, the symbolism and meaning of different customs and rituals, what all our options were to customize our ceremony, etc. For our guests who attended on Zoom, it was comforting to know they could be a part of our big day while still staying safe and relaxed at home and having a Rabbi that is so tech savvy really helps in these times.
When the pandemic is over, we plan to have a huge party with lots of food and guests. But our small, mostly virtual ceremony still felt sacred and very special in large part because of the guidance of Rabbi Heather Miller. We have since attended her high holidays services and know she will be a part of many of our major life milestones in the years to come.

best officiant I could have dreamed of!
Rabbi Miller is an exceptional human being. She not only provided the most beautiful service I could have anticipated, she's also a true leader. She took charge confidently in a very logistically complicated wedding. She made the Judaism digestible for our interfaith guests! Everyone took something special away from the ceremony she led. We feel so seen and valued by Rabbi Miller. She's warm, brilliant and approachable, most importantly she CARES about you, as a couple and as individuals. We will forever be indebted to her and KITS. Thank you for an epic wedding weekend.

We LOVE Rabbi Miller!
We are so happy that we had Rabbi Heather Miller officiate our wedding. We had 5 Zoom sessions with her leading up to the wedding and she led us through interesting topics related to our relationship and helped us build the perfect run-of-show for our ceremony which meshed both of our cultures (Jewish/Catholic). Rabbi Miller is such a fun person to talk to-- extremely personable, professional, on time and detail oriented. She made sure to explain the Jewish traditions in our ceremony in simple terms that all our guests could understand and feel included. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to have her as our officiant!

Dream come true
The GREATEST Rabbi we could ever hope for!!!! I discovered Rabbi Heather Miller through the knot and as a non Jew, I wanted to find someone who would marry my Jewish husband and me without me having to convert. Not only did we get to incorporate all of the Jewish traditions my husband desired, Rabbi Miller made it OUR ceremony, incorporating a poem from my Swedish family and truly making it our own unique experience sacred to our love story. I cannot say enough good things about our rabbi! We had a priest as a guest and he couldn’t stop talking about how much he loved the ceremony. If you want a wonderful, personal, brilliant rabbi, look no further. We feel like we’ve made a friend for life!

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding
I feel so lucky to have had Rabbi Miller officiate our wedding. My husband is not Jewish and the synagogue I had attended in LA wouldn't perform interfaith weddings. To say I was relieved when we had our intro call with her and she managed to connect with my husband about astrophysics and philosophy is an understatement. She created an incredibly intimate, meaningful, and warm ceremony. It takes a special person to bring together a conservative Jew, an atheist, his Christian (German speaking only) parents, and my traditional Jewish family, making everyone feel welcome and important.
I didn't realize how helpful the pre-marital sessions would be until we had our first one. She encouraged us to talk through difficult issues that were relevant to us (the role Judaism would play in our lives, merging cultural and family backgrounds, money). I truly believe these sessions made our relationship stronger. Whenever I see Rabbi Miller post on Facebook or get her congregations list-Serv email I get a warm and fuzzy feeling - I feel like she is truly a part of our family.

Retying the Knot and Breaking the Glass - 4/7/2024
From the first time Aryeh and I met with Rabbi Miller via FaceTime, we felt a sense of relief and ease. It was so fun and easy to talk with her, and we appreciated her flexibility and willingness to work with us as an interfaith couple doing a Jewish wedding with elements of Christian Science integrated throughout! And, it was really awesome that she was able to work with us as we navigated recommitting to each other after being divorced for a few years. The fact that our daughter, who was definitely excited about Mommy and Daddy getting back together, was part of that preparation and the ceremony meant so much to all of us.
We so appreciated the spiritual counseling that we did for the few months leading up to the wedding too. And it felt like Aryeh and I were really grounded in a good foundation as we prepared. And then during the ceremony, when the Rabbi did her Charge - we were so moved! She incorporated things she learned about us into what she shared that indicated to us that she cared and was really tuned in and had listened to us!
We were so humbled and honored to have her officiating, and we highly recommend her! And we also loved being invited to and getting to attend her Keeping It Sacred shabbat service before the wedding too, and look forward to going back soon! So grateful for how welcoming and loving Rabbi Miller is!

Rabbi Heather is the Best!
Rabbi Heather Miller was the ideal officiant for our wedding ceremony, and we feel extremely lucky that we found her. She helped us put together a ceremony that very much represented who we are as a couple, while also guiding us with her experience and expertise. She was gentle, thoughtful, engaged and took a keen interest in who we are as individuals and a couple, not just what motions to go through in a wedding ceremony. Our pre-wedding sessions with her were enjoyable and enriching — Rabbi Heather brings a deep well of knowledge and excellent sense of humor to everything she does. She’s the best! And on the day of the ceremony, she was a steady presence, answering last minute questions while handling both logistics and feelings. She was great with my dad, who was overcome with emotion just before the ceremony. We plan to maintain our bond with Rabbi Heather as active members of her Keeping It Sacred community.

The Best Rabbi for Interfaith Couples!
If you want your ceremony to be unique to you and your relationship, do not pass over talking to Rabbi Miller! Not only is she incredibly friendly, intelligent, and open-minded, she has a way of getting to know you really well and then being able to incorporate everything about you and what you’re looking for in a way that makes everyone feel so welcome and engaged. Rabbi Miller met with us 5 times over the course of our wedding preparations, facilitated our rehearsal at our venue, and built an entire custom ceremony. She helped us navigate through the wedding planning process and even gave us advice on how to manage everything that came our way with friends and family requests. Our wedding was an interfaith Israeli and Southern mix, we got married on a Friday (Rabbi Miller facilitated the candles, challah, and wine blessings with the family), and every single guest we talked to raved about Rabbi Miller. She brings such a bright and inclusive vibe to the day, and we couldn’t have asked for a better rabbi.

An incredible, personalized ceremony
We have never attended a wedding where all anyone can talk about afterwards was the ceremony…until Rabbi Miller officiated ours. Rabbi Miller met with us five times over several months to not only help us craft a unique ceremony, but also get to know us and encourage us to get to know one another. She fostered a space where we could connect honestly and deeply, strengthening our relationship to each other, as well as to her. As an inter-faith couple, she was extremely considerate of our belief systems and ensuring that everyone in attendance would feel grounded and connected. The results was a stellar ceremony that felt hand-crafted to our relationship and had our guests in tears (the happy kind). Beyond that, Rabbi Miller has welcomed us into her community of which we look forward to remaining a part.
