Every time I record a wedding I am reminded of what a vital piece of family history the video I am making will ultimately serve as. Through my lens, I see the love that fills the words in a couple’s shared vows, and the lightness in the steps of their first dance as Mr. and Mrs. But I also see the joy in the face of the niece who walks down the aisle as flower girl or the pride a young nephew has in being chosen as ring bearer. I hear the sentiments not often spoken between siblings in their toasts to the bride and groom. I see many parents remembering back to their own wedding days before they had children to raise and I see the contentment they have in knowing their child has found love too. I see grandparents, some of whom will be outlived by your marriage, simply living in the joy of the moment. And in those moments, I know I’m making a living document.
Given all the details a modern bride and groom have to attend to, selecting a videographer seems often to be one of the last things on the never-ending to-do list. And yet, each and every one of my clients realizes its true value in the calm after the wedding. One couple put it best when they wrote,
"we each remembered something different about that day , but when we saw your video we remembered it all. The best part was seeing things we might have missed even if we hadn’t been in that ‘just-married haze’. We hope to have you record our 50th wedding anniversary!”
I guess all you need to know about us is that we recognize how important capturing your momentous day is.
It's always a pleasure working with Kaipo from 15 Minutes of Frame. He takes a non-invasive approach alleviating fears that seem to haunt the "old-school" videographers. His work is simple, clean, organized, and professional - characteristics hard to come by. I look forward to working with you in the future!
