The easiest way to set up a photo booth at your wedding venue? Build the backdrop ahead of time, then snap it into place at the venue! All the DIY photo backdrops you see in our SummerBook were designed to be hung from this simple reusable hook and wooden dowel set-up.

Follow these easy steps to set up your own!

1. Place a large Command Damage-Free Hook ($6.50 for 3 on Amazon) at your desired height on a wall. We recommend going at least 8 or 9 feet up the wall to accomodate for taller guests.

2. Place the end of an empty dowel (we used one 48" x 2" dowel, $8 at Home Depot) in the hook so that the other end stretches to a blank portion of the same wall. Mark where it ends.

3. Use a tape measure to place a second Command Damage-Free Hook at the same height as the first one. The second hook should line up with the mark so that the dowel fits snugly between the two hooks.

4. If 4 feet (48") doesn't seem big enough, set up a second hook and dowel set right next to the first, so that the two hooks are touching.
