Will I regret ombre hair in my wedding photos?

If it's subtle and you like it, go for it! If you're questioning it though...maybe you shouldn't? I always think if you have to question something then maybe you shouldn't do it...

Well I love the look, I just worry about it looking too trendy. Like when you look back at those 80's wedding photos and everyone is obviously on an aqua net kick, lol. But at least my stylist is good at making it look super natural. I just worry my wedding will look too pinterest-y...

I think if you feel comfortable with it go ahead and do it. Although I can see where you might look back on it in a few years and wonder what you were thinking. But then if you are a person that doesn't like to "play it safe" I would say go for it. Even if you laugh in the future about it! Who knows we may all end up looking back on pictures of our wedding styles and wondering WTF

How are you planning to do your hair?

I have a copper ombre with my dark brown hair and considered dyeing it to my natural hair color when the wedding comes. But my FH said that he likes me having color in my hair-- because that's who I am. So I decided, whenever the wedding is near and whatever hair I am sporting-- that's what I'm going to go with. I think it all depends on my hairstyle.

I honestly do think that it is a trend that will be long gone by the time your kids are looking at you wedding photos but if you like it then go for it. I kinda feel like you can always guess the time of a picture by the style of the woman's hair so its not necessarily a bad thing but just like w all did to our parents you kids will probably laugh and say you had funny looking hair.

I just recently did my hair dark underneath and blonde on top and I was worried about the color looking weird/trashy on my wedding day and in pictures but I have found a hairstyle that I love and my hair stylist insists that it won't be noticeable/show at all. We shall see but I really feel like I'm over it and I don't really care so much anymore.

Yea, I think it's a little trendy. But hell, most everything is trendy. Fit and flare gowns may scream the 2014, twenty years from now. If you like it, go with it.

A proper blonde ombré just looks like you've spent a few weeks at the beach and have got sun-kissed hair. I think it's a beautiful look. I'd say go for it if you have confidence in your colourist.

Did you have a hair trial? was it ombre then? did you love the way it looked? I think ombre is a more subtle trend than the 3-6 inch high bangs and feathers from the 80's/90's..

I think you should do what is most 'you'. If you've been in LOVE with this hairstyle for awhile, then it's worth it, and who cares if it's not in style 20 years from now! If you've only had it for 6 weeks or something like that...might want to go with what has traditionally been the most 'you' in style. But personally, I think this would look awesome with an up-do.

Yes, it's too trendy. It also always looks like the person just needs to dye their roots, IMO.

I think the style you described would be beautiful with a very subtle, natural looking ombre, which you've said your girl does...It all depends on how it's done, there are extremes to everything. And the people saying that it's normal to date a photograph by the hairstyles are right - the dresses, everything will be dated by the time our children look at our pictures. There is no way to prevent this, so embrace what you love now and it'll still show in the pictures.

Personally I love fun, funky hair but I strongly believe that when it comes to a big, lifetime event, that you should look close to your natural self (unless you're a celebrity). I can see it being a regret down the road, go back to your natural shade.

I owuld agree if it looks like your roots are coming in dont do it but if it looks more like hair being bleached out by the sun go for it. You know your hair and the stylist better then we do. So we could not say without a picture of it that is you. Hopefully this helps.
