Will I regret ombre hair in my wedding photos?

So in the summer the past year or so I get a subtle blonde ombre. My colorist is seriously phenom at doing this, but do you think it's too trendy for a wedding? I'm getting my hair done at 6:30p tonight and can't decide. I know some people think it looks like roots growing in, but if you go to a...

Yeah, still not into that. Looks like she went blonde then decided to grow out her brownish/blonde roots.

Do what makes YOU happy. It will be your day, if you like it, I think you should go for it.

Ok I like that a lot better. My hair almost naturally does that on it's own. Also doing an updo it will look so much different.

I would wait until after wedding since you get married in nine days. There is no way that trend will stick around. It will look great now but in five years I'm sure you'll be like "why did I do that". If you are worried about pictures I'd give yourself as classic as a look as you can.

I love ombre hair as long as it is done right, and not like miley cyrus. Or rainbow colors lol

I think it would look great! Definitely agree that the Miley Cyrus pic is way over the top but the picture you posted is really pretty.

But on the note of trendy stuff... FH currently is rocking the full grown beard (don't worry, not Duck Dynasty status...but still a full on thick beard). It looks great on him and I actually like it a lot but we decided he should shave it off for the wedding. 20+ years from now I have a feeling his beard won't be quite as cool. haha.

I personally think it's a trend now, and would not do it for the wedding and go back to it afterwards. Just my opinion though Smiley smile

Love an ombré, if it's done right. I've had one for years, and I'll keep my ombré for my wedding. If she knows what she's doing, then I'd do it.

Edit: By the way your hair looks in your profile picture, I think it'll be subtle and perfect. You have a light base color that it won't seem too drastic. It'll be very Lauren Conrad, in my opinion, which her hair is beautiful.

A properly colored ombre will NOT look like you just "need your roots done."

I have an ombre, I get tons of compliments on it since my hair is down to my lower back. I am keeping it for my wedding day. I love them and think when properly colored and styled, they are beautiful. Like another poster said, "sunkissed".

You might as well embrace the trends of 2014 you love because no matter what our weddings will eventually look outdated.

I really like the look but I'd personally skip it for my wedding. I'd just wait until after and head straight to the salon after the honeymoon. It's just that a few years ago what we call "ombre" would have been called "you need to dye your roots" and I'd imagine that the trend will fade and 10 years from now it will just look like you forgot to get your roots touched up before your wedding.

If your hair will be up for the wedding you might want to wait bc then the different colors will be really obvious.
