It actually just came in a few weeks ago and I am going to try it on tomorrow for the first time since July (and for the first time that it isn’t 8 sizes too large)

The first thing we did was book our venue, as it was the deciding factor on the theme of our wedding. Then came the photographer, and then my dress. They were all booked within a month of our engagement because of where we live (Utah tends to book every thing super early) and the date of our wedding (May, which is also super popular in Utah).

Our photographer was the very first thing we looked into and then booked about 2 months after our engagement, immediately followed by our venue! I didn't start looking for my dress until 10 months before our wedding haha

Booking our photographer! We booked him November 2017 for June 2019 and if we had waited another week he would have been booked for our date!!

I booked my photographer first, right after my venue. Then I found my dress a few months later.

Being a photographer myself, I booked my fav photographer before I even knew what dress I wanted! Lol!

It seems like a lot of people book their photographer before getting a dress! I think it may be a little easier when it comes to those two decisions.

Photographer before dress. We had an antore budget set before we planned so it didn’t really matter if one came before the other for us!

Dress was immediately shopped for

photographer was a last minute addition after planning (actually because of WW lol) when we were going over every final detail and making all of our final decisions about how far we were willing to “alter” our budget

Photographer was first, we wanted to make sure the vendors were booked well ahead of time.
