Where did the time go? (70 days until the wedding)

Woo Hoo! Shannon, It is right around the corner. I am so happy for you. Congrats too on booking that honeymoon.

@Carol - Thanks. We'd talked about taking a cruise, but they run a pretty penny. We were able to book a spot at the beach for a week for only $185. We'll still have to buy food and pay for any entertainment, but at the beach, the sand, sun, and surf are the cheapest and most popular entertainment there is. And since we've only slept in our new camper for one night before the weather turned too cold and we had it winterized, it's about time to get it properly broken in.

Sounds like a fun honeymoon to me! WAAAHOOO almost here!!

Wow, you are my budget inspiration, good for you!! What area is the beach in? I just went into double digits (99) days today! I can feel the excitement too!

Sounds like things are coming together well. Yea!!! So, where are photos of the invitations? The wedding party gifts? The iphones? LOL!

@Shannon....Your honeymoon sounds like perfection to me! Camping on the beach will be awesome. Having a camper makes it quite comfy. As you said, the entertainment doesn't get any better!

I'm almost a year out, which seems so far away, but we got engaged in October & those 5 months have FLOWN by so I know that the next 12 will too! Yikes!

You're right, Meg. The time really will just fly by. We got engaged January 5th, 2010 and it's hard to believe it's down to just 69 days now. Yikes is right, but in a good way!

@Shannon C: I'm not sure even they know how much they have gotten done. Both bride and groom essentially said they didn't have time to plan. Two friends of my daughter's, who are in the bridal party, just took over planning for them. They seem to be doing a great job, particularly with virtually no direction from bride or groom. I am just hoping my son and his FI will be properly appreciative.

Wow again! I can't imagine letting others plan such a big day without me being more involved. But....if they feel comfortable with that then that's awesome. I hope it's the wedding of their dreams. Post some pics for us if you can.

I know! tomorrow will be 60 days for me and we have RSVP's coming in AND wedding presents already. i can't believe it's right around the corner.
