Whats the rudest comment you've gotten?

An old girlfriend of mine from high school blasted my facebook wall with all these comments over how she's so excited, how she wants to know how everything is going, and what to wear. I haven't seen her since I graduated - excuse me, what?!

Oh and we changed our 06/23 to 07/21 when my aunt said she wanted her wedding anni, even though we already announced at my cousin's wedding (in July of this year) that we were set for 06/23. Then I get a call from my cousin saying that my aunt changed her mind (I've already paid deposits for vendors!) and was going to have it 07/14. We then decided on 07/28 (28 is our '#') but the family was having mixed feelings about flying to 2 diff states in just 2 weeks, and work and blah blah blah. So? We settled on 08/11. JUST A FEW DAYS AGO, my cousin (the one who DEMANDS that he throws his parents an anniversary party even though when did they get married - MAY!) tells me that he might not be able to make it. Oh family - thaaaanks :/

The absolute rudest comment I've gotten thus far is

"Do you think you can move your wedding to a morning wedding and and afternoon reception so that I can attend a Hockey game if one happens to be home next season on that night?" -From one of my Bridesmaids

"Do i have to be at the rehearsal too?" -Same BM

"Can you make sure your BM's are hot so me and mike *my cousin* can take somebody home" - My Brother

UGH! Nothing to major yet just some crazy!

"Can I crash your wedding? Not like the ceremony & dinner but can I show up to the party part? Oh and I am going to wear the BM dress that I have for another wedding and I'm gunna blend in with the bridal party!"

This coming from a girl who I really do NOT like at all that is a friend of friends! EWWW NO you can NOT crash our wedding... lame!

(At our wedding reception as I was going table to table thanking everyone for coming)

A little background: DH’s mom was a bit intoxicated, but she always comes off as catty toward other women. She gave me the weirdest little speech that DH and I still can’t decipher WTF she was talking about… she could have possibly referring to his crazy teenage years, but the man’s almost 30 years old now!

DH's mom: "Kevin is like dynamite, and you're like dynamite, but you're dynamite contained... you know how to control your fuse... so... MAYBE you two will work out."

Me: "Oh, no worries there (big smile), we'll work out. How's your food?"

DH's mom: "It's... alright."

Me: "Well we're so glad you could make it, have a great evening." (nice cheesy smile and moves on to next guest at table).

Yep, lol, she's a bit of an a-hole. Later in the evening she really "shined" by trying to hit on the bar tender, then attempted to pick a fight with one of my bridesmaids. HAHAHA!

I have a few..

1.costumer talking tome. coworker says: he likes you. Me: no he doesnt I am engaged. Coworker: he probably did not notice your ring is so small.

2."friend" says: What kind of dress would you like? Me: Mermaid looks cute. "Friend": but you are going to look like a big tamale.

3.Me: he proposed!!! Cousin: really? what did you do? witch craft?

4. Me: he proposed!!! Friend: what did you say? Me: yes!!! Friend: are you sure?????

4.cake lady: if you get you wedding cake with us, you get a discount on your baby shower cake, you are Pregnant RIGHT? (I am not)

Those are hard to top... I believe!!!

So far the only one i got that really bothered me was from a girl i work with. Her mom owns the tux shop that FH and all the GMs are getting their tuxes from. She comes up to me at work and says "Since my mom hooked the guys up with awesome tuxes i should get an invite." Really? From what i heard she was at the shop when the guys were getting fitted but she didnt lift a finger to help her mom measure all 6 of the guys. Invite for her? Not happening.

I wouldn't say these are rude, but they were annoying.

1.) FIL - When are you guys going to have kids? - the night we got engaged

2.)Former coworker - I expect to be a BM since I made you my MOH at my wedding 10 years ago .. ha ha .. just kidding (no she wasn't)

3.) Family friends who offered their services which are only part time hobbies for them.

@ Chelle, Luckily she wasn't on mic... she said this to me when I was going around thanking everyone for coming. There's no way DH and/or I would let her get a hold of a mic! LOL

Holly Ive heard of people saying rude this in passing at weddings. I hope that doenst happen to me lol who am I kidding, it will lol and Ill be ready for a snappy come back

When my ultra-conservative Christian co-worker found out that we were having a secular ceremony she wanted to know, "Just who exactly" are we making a commitment to, then? (I responded, "each other.")

I've also had people imply that there's no point in us getting married since we don't plan on having children.

@ Chelle, Don't worry about it, and if they do, killing them with kindness is sometimes the best "revenge". My big smile and moving on having a great time at my reception and having DH at my side all night was great! The few times I saw her after that she looked like a fool... DH ended up asking her to leave because she was being rowdy, but I didn't even know until the party was over! Your wedding day will be fantastic! Don’t let anyone try to bring you down!

S3 I love that you have argeed not to have kids! wow great lol we are still on the fence, people are crazy everyone deserve the right to marriage!

Yea I was raised pentacostal and im sure some of my guests will be super uncomfortable when the DJ hits the music and drinks are flowing but guess what this is MY WEDDING, and my dance or drink doesnt mean i love God any less, but for those who think it does for them you are welcome to stay home

I have two....Both from co-workers

1) so are you going to do something about all that (motioning at my hips) before the wedding. YOu need to work it out...I wanted to punch her in her teeth...My FI happens to like the way I look you moron and

2) A co-worker got engaged last week and is getting married a week after me. A couple of her friends as well as her have made suggestions that I let her borrow my stuff to use the next week since she is also using purple as a color :-/

1) it's about time he makes and honest woman out of you. (we have a 2 yr old daughter, from my aunt)

2) Are you sure you want to marry him? (from a chick that had the hots for him)

3)(about the rings) those don't look real. (from SIL that made her hubby spend over $2500 on ering)

When i asked one of my close friends to be a bridesmaid she said " i will think about it, but have a back up for me, my personal plans might get in the way of me coming to your wedding"
