What was your first wedding planning decision?

Creating our guest list first . We needed to know what to budget for haha then made a list of the top 3 things that were the MUST HAVE/MOST IMPORTANT. Venue, Catering and Photographer.

Our first was deciding on what type of wedding we wanted. Our whole first month was a toss up between eloping to the beach, eloping to Vegas, drive thru in Vegas with Elvis, small ceremony with just family then a reception later, family ceremony and no reception to ultimately decide on a ceremony and a reception and a guest list of 94. Once we figured out what type of ceremony/wedding we wanted, everything else just fell into place.

We knew we were going choose a date in either late October or early November, but we needed to find the right venue before we set the date in stone. My future MIL and neighbor both recommended the same place to go look at, so we knew it had to be good. After about 10 minutes into the tour I was sold. We brought our parents two weeks later and booked our venue!

Our first wedding planning decision was where we wanted our ceremony and location!
Which was easy because my FH proposed at the beach and our first baecation was to the beach!❤️

No Kelly it does not have catering we are going local for that though and having our reception indoors.

Our first official decision was the date followed by our budget. Since we are paying everything ourselves we gave ourselves ample time.

My was the venue. Then photograph and dj. That was the hard part. Now everything else is good to go

Our first decision was our Venue. Sometimes couples have a date already in mind but once we found this place we knew we wanted to be there and worked with their calendar to find a date available in order to book!

First decision we made was the venue.

Our first “decision” was creating our guest list and music list. I don’t think we had decided on a venue or a date till a month or so later
