    Our first wedding decision was easy! The catering! We work at Texas Roadhouse and decided right away we love the food there and we met there so might as well!

    Our first wedding planning decision? Uh I think it was the venues. We decided both at the same time. It was cute because we both picked the same places off the get.

    Our first planning item was the venue for the reception as we knew that is where we wanted it and right after was the church as I wanted it there as that is where my parents got married.

    My husband and I are renewing our vows. When we got married in July 2013, we did so in front of the JP. We knew at that time we were going to renew our vows eventually and have the ceremony I always wanted.


    I have decided that the ceremony is a DIY. I am crocheting everything including my gown. I am the florist and the one making my gown.


    Our colors are blue, purple, and white. The pattern for the gown cost me $4.00 and the crochet thread so far has cost me less than $20.00.


    I have already crocheted the centerpieces for the reception, and working on the party favors. The vases will probably be purchased at a Thrift Store. The altar vases will probably be purchased at Pier 1 Imports. I have already purchased my place mats I want as well as the napkin rings from Pier 1 Imports.


    My guest list is narrowed down quite a bit, and happy with what that list. I also have the budge created, and trying hard to stick with it and find ways to save money in all areas.


    We have decided that the ceremony will be on our wedding anniversary as that is very important to us. Because this is a vow renewal we are not having a wedding party, however, I will have a team to help me with the set up and tear down. We will have a different photographer, as what we had was horrible.
