What Things are OFF-LIMITS on a Registry?

I thought this might be a fun topic: In your opinion, what things are completely off-limits for a wedding registry? If you were invited to a wedding and saw _blank_ on their registry, what would upset/anger/annoy/freak you out the most?

I think its a good idea to have a mixture of high & low priced items on a registry. Why not have a $400 TV if someone wants to get you something? If I go to the wedding of a close family member or a good friend - I'm willing to splurge cause I love that person and I love getting people stuff they can actually use. When my cousin had her baby shower I bought her stroller ($250), stroller rain cover, and some kind of moby wrap (not sure what it was, some kind of baby carry) cause I LOVE my cousin and I wanted to make sure she got some good stuff. Not that the stuff really matters but it is something that she can USE.

FH wanted to register for KY intense... "it IS a wedding necessity..."

    *rolls eyes*

We did the same as Carmen... registered for outrageous things in hopes of people just forkin' out some moola.

$2500 TV at walmart... heck yes.

My friend loves to cook and bake and registered for brownie mix at Williams Sonoma! I thought that was pretty funny.

FS wanted to register for baby things even though we have no children, are not pregnant, and are not planning to get pregnant for at least a year. I asked him if it was to shock people and he said, "No, I just thought it was a good idea to start collecting things early." Not sure if I like his "just in case" reasoning there. LOL Besides, that's what a baby shower is for!
