What is your pee plan?

Danielle, on April 8, 2019 at 4:15 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 89

Haha...for all of you brides planning to wear shape wear, what is your plan for going to the bathroom? My dress is poofy, I will need help from my bridesmaids to pee, but I just don't see how I'd be able to pull spanx on and off successfully. Smiley xd

Haha, I guess I have it a little easier. I was planning on stepping out of my dress completely (it's got a zipper up to my lower back I can reach, and one button above it. I figured I'd only need one person to help me in and out of the dress, if at all. And then the shapewear should be easy enough to get on and off afterwards.

Maybe the garbage back trick to hold your dress out of your way will work for you?

I've been avoiding thinking about this hahaha honestly my MOH or mom will be coming in to help me lol I'm wearing a fit and flare with a tulle bottom but not planning on wearing shape wear so hopefully it's not too complicated. Maybe look into the shape wear that has a slit in it to pee? I honestly have no idea hahaha

I recommend getting the spanx that are crotchless. That is what I did and it was easy to pee by just lifting my dress around me and sitting on the toilet backwards.

I have no idea but mine’s fitted so I’m guessing I have to unbutton it every time! 😭

I was wondering who had a crotchless support garment. Thank you, Earias! ❤

This is such a great question lol. I pee constantly and was thinking I'll probably have to just sip water during the day instead of drinking the usual amount. But then of course if I'm having alcohol ill have to pee anyway...

That’s what my sisters are for 😂 I don’t have my dress yet (should be in in a few weeks) but I’m hoping after alterations it won’t be too hard bc I’ll most likely have spanx and they are the worst

I'll be asking for help from my mom, grandmother, or MOH. They're the closest ladies to me so no need to be shy lol.

I plan on using Travel John. Basically these allow you to pee standing/sitting/whatever and the liquid turns into a jelly-like substance instantly so there's no risk of spilling...

I have used those during volunteer experiences in the mountains of South America or during crazy weather and tides on a boat.

I've been dreading thinking about this! LOL. I have a really tight fitting mermaid style dress, there's no way I can lift it up to go to the bathroom. I'm going to have to step out of it completely (luckily it's a zipper back) and go to the bathroom. My MOH and I have already discussed this. She's going to help me out lol.

My dress has a corset, zipper, and 2 types of buttons.....I'm not coming out of that dress until I go to bed, haha. God help my FH when it's time to get me out of it at the end of the night after we've had a few drinks. Smiley xd

Well, I plan to drink beer...so I don't get too crazy / hungover the next day (I am 30, so my hangovers are brutal), but beer makes me pee A LOT. I could only be so lucky not to have to go the whole time.

Lol, thanks. I thought about that...but I dunno, I cannot go commando and wonder how I'd feel with an open slit down there. Smiley xd

This may be TMI, but how did you feel with having an opening down there? I am one of those people that cannot go commando, so I feel like I'd be uncomfortable.

Same....and I plan to drink beer (to prevent me from getting too crazy, lol), and that makes me pee even more. I'm doomed, haha.

Yessss.....normally when I wear them, I sweat and have a hard time getting them back on. I can only imagine how hard it'll be with my dress.
