What is your pee plan?

Haha...for all of you brides planning to wear shape wear, what is your plan for going to the bathroom? My dress is poofy, I will need help from my bridesmaids to pee, but I just don't see how I'd be able to pull spanx on and off successfully.

OMG I never even thought about this Smiley xd . My dress is a mermaid so not TOO much volume to lift, if I need a hand lucky for me my younger sister is weird and would just think of it as a bonding experience.

I have shapewear that unhooks at the crotch which makes getting it off enough to go to the bathroom much easier.

Try a bridal buddy and a miracle suit. Miracle suit has a little pocket between the legs so that you don’t have to take it off to pee.

Looks nice, but I have a strapless and low back, so I can't have anything come that high up.

They have others on their site that have the hooked crotch but have low back and no straps. Its Bare Necessities! You should check out what they have on their site!

I was told by the people at the bridal salon that the “appropriate” way to pee with a wedding dress on was seating on the toilet backwards (facing the tank) and maybe you can have your BMs or MOH help you with the train or something. I won’t be wearing shapewear, but as PP suggested, I’d go with the crotchless one so you have a bit less to worry.

Yes same here. I need to come out of the dress completely because its a mermaid dress. It has s couple butterflies and corset to untie.

La perla has spanks that has a zipper and I think maidenform has some also. I am playing it safe and having the seamstress put zippers in

If the dress is poofy, why wear shapewear under the poofy part? Or maybe it's a dropped waist?

Honestly I'm thinking mainly of comfort myself. Went with a corset style bodice and the rest is a body hugging slip sort of dress. I liked the support and hug of the corset and the sexiness of the slip. Definitely pull up able too for potty time lol.
Don't wear something on your wedding you're not comfortable with. It'll end up bugging you all day and you'll just want to take it off. As far crotchless shapewear, when I had surgery I had to wear them to keep swelling down and thought they were super awkward to go pee in... I'd look into one of those dress buddy thingys
