As you planned your wedding, what would you say has been the most time consuming, confusing or overwhelming?

Getting everyone's addresses was very overwhelming for me! Also, was informed by two people that they had moved RIGHT after I got the envelopes back from being addressed. But, at least, they let me know before they were lost in the mail!

And, picking a first dance song has been confusing. Nothing feels right. My mom really wants us to dance to this one song and we both love it, but I always forget the name and the artists name. And, I feel like if I really loved it, I wouldn't do that!

The most overwhelming portion has been my dress. The designer lost my order. Smiley sad So, it will arrive shortly before the wedding and alterations will have to rushed. Just praying that all turns out okay!

The guest list and getting all of the addresses had taken up a good amount of time. Other than that so far nothing has been overly stressful, I'm sure that will change in the next six months though.

Tracking down the 80% of the guest list that seems to have forgotten how to rsvp.

The guest list would do it for me. Not so much my side of the family but the FH side. He doesn't have very many addresses.

If not the guest list.....I would say our song choices, we both like completely different music. I for one LOVE country love songs and old school R&B while the FH like OLD OLD school jams and Jazz music...he hates Country love songs and none of the R&B songs I like. LOL

Tracking down addresses. Mailing and sorting rsvps. Making the seating chart poster (I don't want to do it, so I keep prorastinating and the wedding is a week away).

Also don't have song for Aisle or first dance. Meh.

I agree with the above poster. Getting everyone's address and writing out all of the STDs was a pain.

Most time consuming was picking out music for the ceremony, first dance, parent dances & our reception entrance songs. I love music and I needed every song to be perfect.

Thank you all for sharing! I'm working on a series of blog posts that will be step by step guides to help with common wedding planning struggles. I'll definitely address the guest list, seating chart and wedding website! My goals are to provide specific step by step how-tos on these topics to help couples save time and allow them to focus more on the fun stuff! The song choice struggles are a little more tricky - but music is such an important part of the overall vibe! Every time you hear the songs, you'll relive those moments!

Well FH started a new job back in may so our finances have been a little tight, we are now playing the hold your breath game to see if he will get a bonus let alone how much it will be to help pay for the wedding. We won't find this out until after Christmas and it is kinda holding me back from booking vendors since I don't know what we are working with anymore :/

Diy flowers! Had to time when to pick them up and work on them the night before and the morning of the wedding. Lol at Nicole's comment.

Most Time consuming was picking a venue with FH. We were inbetween 3 places all completely different for months. The most overwhelming is sticking to wedding. I had a slump of wanting to elope so badly I actually planned elopements in various cities in case we decided to it. Every wedding I attend makes me not want a wedding.

So far the worst part has been picking the venue. We had such a hard time finding a place that we both liked and could afford. Luckily we finally found the perfect place!
