As you planned your wedding, what would you say has been the most time consuming, confusing or overwhelming?

The website RSVP's through WeddingWire worked great! It made the organization so much easier. We sent out paper invitations but used the WeddingWire website to compile the RSVP's. Some frustrating things about planning: I agree compiling addresses is a pain. People also acted like they didn't even realize when the date was or forgot they needed to RSVP. Figuring out the whole day events was pretty stressful cause you have to make sure you have transportation figured out, flowers, hair, decor, ceremony, readings, music, etc. I have like a million documents with notes.

    Bridesmaid stuff, meetings, etc.

I'm almost there, but organizing times where everyone can meet and getting information to them has been a little more overwhelming than other tasks. Also, I am not the bride that knows what she wants her BM's to do and wear. So, I have been giving them a lot of options and doing votes to come up with a decision. I have the task of picking out a designer and color for shoes, earrings and a bracelet...smh.

I'm sure as I continue to get closer to the wedding this answer may change. But right now, it's dealing with BM stuff.

Bridesmaids dresses has been the most difficult so far. 4 out of 5 of my bridesmaids got pregnant after we got engaged. I had originally chosen fitted satin bridesmaids dresses and they all agreed but we had to change that because that material is not the most flattering. We're 6.5 months out and still no dresses. We're going shopping again this weekend

I would say getting addresses, addressing and mailing save the dates, and then addressing and mailing envelopes. I did everything myself and I think it took me five hours (not all at once) to address all the invitations. I would also say tracking down people who haven't RSVPed- such a pain!!!

We used postables.com for getting everyone’s current address and it worked like a charm! Picking out bridesmaid dresses all my 0-14 sized bridesmaids would wear...now that was the hard part!Smiley winking
