What are your wedding cake flavors?

My last post for the day (I promise) What is/are your wedding cake flavor/s, fillings and icing? If you're having multiple flavors (tiers), which are you freezing for your anniversary?

We are doing six tiers of traditional white, white buttercream frosting, ivory piping and piped buttercream roses in blush, ivory, and white with light mint green leaves.

All these flavors sound amazing! We're just having chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, with white fondant on top. Classic but yummy.

@nicole - the orange bubbly cake is an orange (real orange flavor), with champagne and spices (nutmeg/cinnamon if I remember correctly). Soooo good, you just get a hint of the champagne (alcohol is burned off in baking) but it adds a really nice flavor and helps the cake keep moisture. Soooo good, I don't even think my description does it justice.

We will be having cupcakes (7 flavors) and a cutting cake. We aren't sure what flavor the cutting cake will be but these are the flavors for the cupcakes:

    1) Spicy Chocolate with regular buttercream filling and regular buttercream frosting

    2) Red Velvet with cream cheese frosting

    3) Chocolate with fudge filling and brown sugar buttercream frosting

    4) Lemon with regular buttercream frosting (may have a lemon filling)

    5) Vanilla with regular buttercream frosting (but in light blue)

    6) Apple spice cake with brown sugar buttercream frosting

    7) Caramel cake with dulce de leche filling and regular butter cream frosting

**the cupcakes will have different ways to differentiate them (color of frosting, color of cupcake, or a little decoration on top (e.g. white/silver sparkles, lemon drop candy, a chile shaped fondant candy). We may also change little things with each cupcake, but that is the main summary.

Which flavor should I pick for the regular cutting cake?

We have three tiers as well. Bottom and top tiers are white cake with lemon/raspberry chiffon filling, and the middle tier is red velvet with cream cheese filling. And buttercream icing. Although I'm contemplating on asking the bakery to change the top tier to marble cake with fresh strawberries/whipped cream filing. I had originally wanted that as the top tier, but the baker said the strawberries won't taste as well if we freeze and keep it for our anniversary. But I'm liking this idea of a fresh anniversary cake that some of your bakers are providing! I'm going to ask my baker about that!!

FH and I are jokingly calling ours a fruit and vegetable cake. We're having carrot cake and hummingbird cake. I having a dense moment and can't recall for certain, but I believe we're doing cream cheese frosting.

It probably sounds like a strange combo, but it's going to be delicious.

FH's surprise groom's cake will be an Ale 8 cake with Ale 8 flavored frosting.

We are having one round cake with cupcakes...the cake is banana with cream cheese filling and vanilla frosting and the cupcakes are vanilla with vanilla frosting. I let the FH make all of the decisions on this one, he is the one with the sweet tooth. We will probably just freeze one cupcake, just to make it easier.

My FH and I are VERY picky, so we're just doing white, chocolate with chocolate chips, and marble cupcakes.
