What are your wedding cake flavors?

My last post for the day (I promise) What is/are your wedding cake flavor/s, fillings and icing? If you're having multiple flavors (tiers), which are you freezing for your anniversary?

Ugh so frustrated! Had my whole post about ready to submit and then accidentally exited out of the page and have to start all over...let's try this again....

We are having a one-tiered cake for us to cut, 120 cupcakes in 5 different flavors (2 dozen of each flavor), 60 whoopie pies in 4 different flavors (1 dozen of each flavor), and Moravian Sugar cake. We are having the whoopie pies to incorporate my FH'S hometown and Moravian Sugar cake to incorporate mine. The whoopie pies are going to chocolate with mint filling, chocolate with peanut butter filling, Vanilla with lemon filling and vanilla with vanilla filling. Our tier cake is going to be a chocolate banana cake with peanut butter filling and marshmallow buttercream!!! Our cupcakes are going to Chocolate PB stuffed, S'mores, Vanilla latte, White chocolate Raspberry, and Salted Caramel. We chose those flavors with hopes there would be something everyone likes. Our baker had so many flavors to choose from that it made it really difficult to pick which ones because they were all so delicious. We get a complimentary 2nd taste testing closer to the wedding as well as an anniversary cake so we won't have to freeze ours.

We had creme brule and lemon. I was so busy the day of I didn't get any! Smiley sad my MOH did end up taking leftover cake with her to work and she said her coworkers loved it, which our guests were saying also. I know the tasting we had sure was delicious!

ETA I honestly don't remember what the top layer was that we froze for our anniversary, guess we'll find out when we dig into it!

We are going more modern with cupcakes. Doing chocolate, red velvet, and salted caramel. With a typical wedding cake though, you keep and freeze the top teir to eat on your 1st anniversary. (But I hear its gross!)

We had a 2 tier cake, we went with vanilla with buttercream, And we also had a 1/2 sheet cake ( we had 3 birthdays at the wedding). We had marble and whipped icing for that cake. Everyone loved the cake(s). They were amazing.

We're having a four tier cake with the top layer to freeze. Jeffery Miller Catering is making our cake and I'm so excited! We're getting a Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting. It is to die for! I know it's a bit less traditional for a wedding, but when we did our tasting it was our absolute favorite! Only 40 days to go...wahoo!
