What are you getting engraved inside wedding band???

I put "For all the adventures yet to come" on the inside of FH's band.

We got both our names engraved on each other's ring. Name and name forever. A bit cheesy, but we liked it.

My FH wanted to follow Brazilian tradition and engrave each other's names but I wanted something more original. So I came up with this and he loved it: R&H Amor Verdadeiro (That's true love in Portuguese.) He already shows it off to all his friends and family.

We didn't engrave. We didn't even think of that...

I was thinking of getting "my buddy" engraved inside ours as a surprise! It's a pet name we have for each other and something he drunkenly and lovingly said to me early in our relationship

I don't have anything engraved in my band but I got "A modern love with old fashion values" engraved in my husband's wedding band.

I'm surprising him with Love you more. Every night at bedtime he says "love you" and I say "love you more".

My dad was nervous about telling my mum "I love you" and blurted out "Banana" so they had that in their rings.

We're probably going with a modified LOTR quote (found online yonks ago) or "/love"

We're not sure but my mom had my dad's wedding band engraved with "the best is yet to come"

MissGeek I love that you're using that quote. I mean the original would have been better but a little less romantic. We always jokingly say it to each other about our wedding bands.

I had "millenium falcon much" put in my FHs band. Its an inside joke about how much we love each other.

Jeanne - I was gunning for the original but FH wanted the modified one (probably because I pitched the original in Gollum's voice lmao)

We haven't gone back to engrave ours yet. My dad & mom have "As You Wish" in their bands from Princess Bride

"Where you go, I will go" on the inside of hers, and "your people will be my people" on the inside of mine, in the Biblical Hebrew.

When we started dating, fiancé would sign off his emails with Besos (kisses in Spanish), and would respond with Bises (French). So his ring says "Bises" and mine says "Besos." I engraved them as a surprise

We are getting "I love you" and "I Know" as a tribute to our love for Star Wars. And each other.

Where are you going to get the rings engraved?

Cost? I would like to do this as a surprise. Wonder if I can pull it off without him noticing the rings are missing.

My FH is a big Zelda fan.. so I thought of putting "It's dangerous to go alone.. take this" in his ring. But I kind of want something sweeter. Haven't decided yet!
