What are you eating the night before the wedding?

Kayla, on April 13, 2013 at 2:05 AM Posted in Planning 0 18

I know every bride wants to feel amazing on their wedding day so what are you planning on eating the day before the big day and day of? I've seen lots of suggestions not to eat but not what to eat, I hate being bloated.

Lol depends on if I need a little help fitting into the dress! I dont think the night before is that big of a deal, just nothing super heavy. I think whats more important is to eat a little on your actual wedding day so youre not too weak! Probably easy to be nervous or just forget to eat til the reception or something Smiley smile

We are having our rehearsal dinner the night before and we are doing a seafood boil - crab, shrimp, potatoes, corn, and artichokes. There will also be several types of salad and garlic bread. I plan on some crab, shrimp and salad (small amounts of each). None of the starches and no artichokes(they can make people gassy).

I'm very very spiritual...I'm fasting for seven days before my wedding...just to prep myself for the day...no meats or sweets just water and vegetables and fruit and bread...

Our rehearsal is the night before, we are grilling out with everyone....burgers, chicken breasts, brats and hot dogs....with potato salad, pasta salad, etc for sides.....easy, cheap, fun and relaxing!

My shower is the night before the wedding and my wedding is 6pm the next day so I'm not going to stress. I'm more worried about the second wedding after all the eating on Friday night. *gasp*

Pineapple should help with the bloating. Don't eat a lot of salty foods or over eat.

I'm having pizza and wine! I've been dieting for the last 2.5 years with the occasional pizza but for the night before, I'll have my girls come to my hotel and we'll have an early girls night with pizza and wine.

We're having a backyard rehearsal dinner, at the risk of sounding like a complete redneck, w're basically having a 'pig pickin'. It's kind of a long standing tradition to cook whole hogs in my dads side of my family, and redneck or not it's delicious haha. FH has family that are still Amish so were planning on getting some fresh sweet corn ect for sides. We're also having his grooms cake that night.

Our rehearsal dinner is at a little Italian restaurant...there will be salad, pasta, bread, and then I'm not sure what the other entrees will be, but I'm hoping for good lasagna! Whatever goes on we're going to have a fun time with our families before we say goodnight. The next day, who knows what we'll have because I don't have a menu picked out yet. YIKES!

Veggie burgers and corn on the cob! we are having a bbq for our oot guests with burgers, chicken, salads and desserts. we are also doing a cake for my sisters birthday. not much seems to upset my stomach, so i should be good to eat whatever is around...i want to enjoy my family and friends in the days leading up to the wedding, not deprive myself! i get very cranky if i'm living off veggies and fruit!

I remember having eggplant Parmesan the night before my first wedding. It was delicious.

We're having our rehearsal dinner at a golf course so probably traditional American fare. Some kind of salad sounds good to me at the moment.

I don't have digestive or stomach issues so what I eat is the last of my worries.

So there is this bar that makes Polish food where I come from. They have a room that we will rent and eat that food. It is hands down, the best food. We are just having the bridal party and parents after the rehearsal. We are going to have a brunch for everyone when they all come to get ready so everyone will have something to eat.
