Mine doesn't match the colors, but it matches the feel of my wedding...my std's had a champagne bottle, and the intro to my website has 2 champagne glasses clinking...so it matches my new years eve theme

my colors are blue...so some of my pages have blue font

I don't think it has to, but I would suggest doing so because it just makes everything coherent and matched Smiley smile further enhancing the wedding style experience that your guests will have when visiting the website.

Mine just matches in terms of formality. None of the themes on weddingwire really matched colorwise for what I am doing.

Mine doesn't match cause I didn't love any of the ones that had our colors... instead we went with a "Boston" themed website. Smiley smile

Ours just happens to match. Our colors are light mocha and chocolate brown with off white flowers. The theme we chose fits perfectly with it.

Mine kinda matches. Our colors are red w/ ivory accents, but the website is more black/red/white. The website does match the style of the wedding though.

Our colors are bright pink & orange, kinda hard to match, so we went with the LA theme, Love the Palm trees!!

Originally mine did. But after we changed our colors, we couldn't find anything to match. It hasn't been a big deal though and I kind of like that it's different. That way, the decor is still a surprise.

Thanks everyone, I just wanted to respond to everything and thank you for your advice. I did however find a theme that matches the colors of my wedding and captures the essence of fall. Its called Fall Leaves ..Pumpkin and Chocolate. Smiley smile

What theme did you go with..?

Not really necessary....But if you want you can match the color of your website with your wedding colors.....Mine is different but I really wanted to match it...... But now it is OK with me.....

Matching colors gives you a kind of feeling that it is your wedding website....And you would feel excited by seeing this....

I would definitely match mine to my colors if I could, but that's just me being a bit OCD. Sadly, I could not find one I liked that had red, purple and black. I wouldn't say it's a must, but I think it might help with cohesion.

Mine does. It's actually one of the main reasons why I ended up here at WW. It was hard finding my colour combinations.

@LadyL - same here! I searched and searched for a website that had our colors and stumbled upon WW. I got hooked and here I am! But yes, our website matches the color combo/style of our wedding. But that's just a personal choice. I don't think it's super important to do so!

I don't think so, mine surely does not match the wedding. It's in pink/brown and white, my wedding colors are reb/black/ivory
