Are you planning on having your wedding ceremony and reception at the same venue? Or will they be hosted at different locations? How many wedding venues do you have? One or more? Just one venue for us. I personally did not want to have to deal with the logistics of traveling from one place to the next. Our venue has a nice outdoor ceremony space and then an indoor cocktail hour and reception space. Since our wedding is in February it's also nice to know that in case of questionable weather we have space inside to have our ceremony as well.

Two locations! I'm Catholic, so first venue is a church, followed by the reception at a nearby restaurant (literally a 10 min walk in downtown SF) 3 hours later.

We are one and done. We have one venue but different rooms in the venue. The small downstairs ballroom is where our ceremony will be. The upstairs foyer and ballroom is where we’ll have our cocktail hour and then our reception will be the upstairs ballroom which also has access to the upstairs terrace.

We have two venues! Our ceremony is outside in a cottage garden. Our reception is inside at a new ballroom connected to a nice hotel. Same town, just two blocks from each other.

One venue. The ceremony will be in a wooded area and the reception will be in a barn.

Just one. Ceremony was in a large tent outside and reception was inside the ballroom.

We opted for one venue to avoid having to arrange transportation for everyone. Our wedding is a DW and we thought it'd be easier for everyone that way. The hotel is also directly across the street from the venue!

Our church is our only venue because there's plenty of space for both!

Just one. It's all we need. We have it for 10 hours so it made more sense to do both there, and a plus is we actually met there back in 1985, so not only cost-effective but hugely sentimental

Two, one ceremony venue and one reception venue-- I wish my church could double as a reception place, but the due to the amount of people-- i do not think my church could hold that many. And my humble little lunch hall at church needs a bit of makeover anyways?i settled on a reception about a half hour away-- it was the right price and had everything i asked for in my budget.
