Kaira

We are starting our ceremony just before twilight at the church Kaira grew up in. A dramatic reading by local senator, actor and aunt Sandy Pappas. The rest of the ceremony. Short and sweet, complete with a giant steeple organ, lots of music (expected and requested by the family) vows, celebration, hand-fasting and laughing. So much joy-- we will then take family photos while the rest of the company moves to the cocktail hour location at the Best Western Premier in Burnsville. It'll be under 2 hours ( cocktail hour not hours) and then the reception hall will be open. The reception will be an immersive experience. Kaira uses her fiber art knowledge to craft an experience that will not be forgotten. A special curated playlist, uplighting, local greenery for centerpieces with fairytale motifs-- lots of shimmery shine. Lights and draping. The food is by Morgan's " Farm to table" restaurant, excellent walleye! It will be a buffet, which i find is great for those who want more control over what they eat. Dessert will be an assortment of goodies, that or the usual cake too. We have a cutesie cake for groom and bride with a " snow white" first dance as a bride wedding topper. We might have a chocolate fountain, Mark kept joking about it and now Kaira wants to surprise him with it. The bar is right next to the ballroom incase people want to purchase drinks, we intend to have blue hawaiians as a specialty drink $1 proceeds will go to vets as dec 7th is the infamous pearl harbor day, as well as grandpa's bday which we will sing to and give his own cake. As the night goes on we will have loaded fries as a late treat/snack for people. Coffee, tea and water through the night as well. Then when all winds down, we shut off the lights and lock the ballroom door. Everything can remain as the hotel mentioned there is no need to rush out of the room. Tear down will be the next morning complete with a brunch and gift opening. Afterwards Kaira and Mark will run off to the historic inn in Stillwater for a B&B time as a mini getaway. They honeymoon will actually take place in February where both will attend to Katsucon as VIPs, take a few days in Baltimore MD and then take a cruise through the Bahamas. Coming home will be the real adventure!
