Busty- full-figured/plus size women! i need your help with undergarments! longlines!

Okay, so yes there is the option of having the cups sewn into the dress. While that sounds nice--- I can't really imagine my dress being tight enough with the cups holding them there to hoist them up, and pull me in.
I've done the adhesive bra, and boy do those puppies go down. I feel like I'll be lost in the cups, somewhere below where they aren't supposed to go.
I want to know what you are using under THE dress. Mine specifically is low in the back (think like, the top half off your bra poking out, that is where my zipper ends) what sort of longline would you recommend for someone who needs something large enough for a 42/44/46 inch waist ( depends how bloated I am) C/D cups, but is low in the back (and low-cut in the front. Not plunge, but modest cleavage) that is. I am not sure if it is smart to modify the waistband so that it will dip low enough-- I have found maybe 3 longlines that are low enough where i feel like I would be safe but the reviews are super 50/50 maybe 20/80.

Who has had a good experience with a supportive longline that wont show in the back?

Also, if the longline could hit at the natural waist, that's a plus ( I am very va-va-voom. Like. B: 48 W: 44 H: 56 ) Or maybe I am just supposed to wear spanx and cups in the dress? But I dont know, I feel like I need more leverage since my dress is so low in the back--- ergh HELP! I am 5 weeks away!

    I struggled with this. I bought like 7 different bras and ended up liking this one most:
    https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-3008167/dominique-bras-noemi-backless-strapless-balconette-bridal-bra-6377.jsp?skuid=39172582&ci_mcc=ci&utm_campaignFOUNDATIONS%20II&utm_medium=CSE&utm_source=google&utm_product=39172582&CID=shopping30&pid=googleadwords_int&skuId=39172582&storeIds=77&gclsrc=aw.ds&&gclid=Cj0KCQjw6eTtBRDdARIsANZWjYb9NF0l9kW2AdIUem5qUyVigd6Rk4VwNoG6SJZSS0ua1_Zy152Mbe8aAsfWEALw_wcB

    Dominique bridal bra. I’m a 38C and my alterations lady had to take the cups in a little because I didn’t fill them out (I had to purchase a 42B to accommodate my waist... Idk my exact size but I wear size 16/18 in clothes the cups on this thing run big).

    This is is the only one I found that fit around my waist comfortably, didn’t cut me off in a weird place, and was low enough in the front and back (My dress Is not a super deep V in front and the zipper in back ends right below where a normal bra strap would go)

    id suggest buying a bunch of different ones from Amazon and trying them out/returning what doesn’t work. Good luck!

    Thanks for responding! That's exactly what I am doing. It's too bad I didn't do this sooner-- my second alteration is next week. Hopefully one of my orders is the winner. But I will look at this too, thank you Smiley smile

    Hey Kaira! Did any of your orders arrive yet? I hope one of them works out.

    I'm a 38/40 C, and for strapless dresses I have the Wonderbra 'Ultimate backless' longline bra and think it's great. It's not super comfortable but a necessary evil Smiley xd I believe in the US you can order the brand on ASOS!

    So, I got the two off amazon. Total fails... What i ended up doing was getting shapwear from Target. It's like spanx-- but smoother, and an opening in the crotch. [haha]

    and then I am using a strapless bra from Lanebryant-- it was on clearance, but just a basic, nude, strapless bra --- and all I did was just wear it a little lower in the back. The bra it'self has nice support-- so no issues. I did have the adhesive bra pad things -- i was going to ask them to put in cups and see if I could work the padded chicken fillet things in.. but the strapless ended up working out by just wearing it lower in the back-- it held pretty well. So I think i will stick to this method. Reaturn the chicken fillets-- i returned the two longlines to amazon and got a credit back [ which went to something else so not bad] ... othewrise I'd probably stick to the chicken fillet/sew in cup idea-- they are also going to structure my dress a little more by adding boning to the bodice-- which should help with puckering and such. Spanx are definitely the way to go.

    It's a bummer the two didn't work out, however, I'm happy to hear you got something sorted!
