Wedding Thank You Cards

We bought Thank Yous from Vistaprints that matched our invitations. I started on them as soon as we got back from the honeymoon. I do 3-5 a day.

I did double sided flat cards with photos on both side and designated space on the back for a personalized handwritten note to each guest.

I'd say that I got them all mailed out right around the 1.5 month mark after our wedding.

Ours were based on the design of our ketubah (formal Jewish wedding contract), with the permission of the ketubah artist. Below are pictures of the ketubah, and of our thank you cards. We sent them all out within 30 days after the wedding.

We bought some from vistaprint. They were a tandem bike and very cute. And we personalized them a bit. We got them all out a week and a half after our wedding.

I plan to get ours done within days of the wedding. We're not going on a honeymoon right away, and writing them is a priority for me.

I'm still looking for thank you cards, but since our wedding is so close to Christmas we're going to send plain thank yous and photo Christmas cards.

I got mine from Hobby Lobby. They were not anything special. The front says Thank You with a black swirly design. The inside was blank.

I started mine Monday after the wedding because hubby had to be back to work. I was averaging about 10 a day. I did Grandparents and those that really helped us out first. I think I have about eight left to do. Everyone was shocked that has received them so far because I had them out so quickly.

We got ours from our photographer. One side had a picture of DH and I and it said Thank You from Mr and Mrs M-August 11, 2012. The other side was blank so we could write on it.

I was a bad bride and it took a few months, about 3 or so, for all of ours to get sent out.

I'm a TY card geek...and I can't wait to write them!! We'll order after we get back so that we can use pictures...and then the duty of writing goes to me since FW's handwriting can be a little harder to read!

I'm waiting until we get our pro pics back but i'll be doing something similar to MrsO. It takes about 1 month to get back our CD with everyting edited.

I asked my photographer for a couple of pictures back quickly for thank you cards, it was a problem for him. Just got them today so I need to decide what to order. Just wanted to say. anyone who wants photos should just try asking for some, photographers will usually understand.

I'm so glad to hear some brides out there still have the etiquette to send thank younotes. I've been to several weddings inthe last few years gave a present or money and never received a thank you. I have distant family who could not attend and they sent a very generous check. Not only did I send a thank you note I had a edible arrangement delivered to show how much it meant to me.

I ordered ours thru CVS. We did a 4x8 card with 3 pictures on it and a generic message thanking them for sharing the day with us and then I had wrote a more personal message on the bad of the card. We ended up sending them out at the 1.5 month mark.

Our photographer was awesome and took a photo we uploaded to VP. She also was able to get at least one picture of each guest during the evening. I have hand written a thank you note on the back to each individual and am including a copy of their picture(s) in the envelope. I am waiting on the photos to mail them out. Hopefully we can get them in the mail this weekend.

These are all great ideas!!! I am waiting on my pictures to come back now. They should be done by the end of the weekend. So it looks like it will be about a month and a half for me too...I see some of the other ladies responded that theirs took that long to send out as well so I feel a lot better. Thanks ladies! I can always count on ya'll!
