Wedding planner.

I’m not sure what a planner would do if you’ve already booked the major vendors and made most of the decisions. Maybe you could just look into a day of coordinator.

I'm naturally a planner/control freak so I ended up doing most of the planning and booking out vendors but we decided to hire a day of coordinator which was the best investment I made the entire wedding! Every day of coordinator is different but mine was technically month of? She checked in with us a month prior to the wedding to go over all our vendors/contracts/etc and she made up our timeline and everything. Pretty much a month out from the wedding she was the point of contact for all our vendors. The day of she was phenomenal! My day was so relaxed and she took care of pretty much everything! I couldn't thank her enough! Definitely definitely worth the investment for a day of

I have no sisters and the majority of my people know nothing about planners so I rather hire someone. What planner did you hire? Is she from New Jersey.

Unfortunately no. We got married in Hawaii so she's on Oahu. Good luck finding someone in the jersey area!

We hired our day of coordinator a few months back and found her for a great price and she had a bunch of great reviews! She is based in NY, where we’re from but we are getting married in northern NJ next year. Here is the link to her WW page, hope she can help!

We hired a wedding planner. I love her because she is giving us vendor suggestions to stay in budget.

It it doesn’t hurt to contact a few and discuss what you have done and what can they provide for you at this point.

All I want is someone that can come in a month prior the wedding and keep everything organized.

Day of coordinator might be your best bet.

I never wanted a wedding planner because I’m super hands on and I wanted to find all my own vendors. Most wedding planner come already with the team they are comfortable working with and I didn’t want that but I wanted a wedding coordinator mostly for the day off. Because I had a destination wedding I knew this was a must for me and I wanted to actually be the bride and not be in charge on things so I hire a wedding coordinator. She was supposed to work with me the last 3 months but we actually clicked and she was a great help from the moment I hire her a year before. She recommended a variety of the vendors I had missing and was a huge help on the last details towards the end. If you can afford it then I recommend it.
