Wedding Arch...need options...

Get a bunch of sticks and decorate with streamers/flowers/curtains? That's what we're doing. Getting the wood from IL's woods behind the house.

You could always buy a flower arch and decorate it to make it look bigger. Or find a tree and decorate it. You don't need anything, but its always nice to have it

Is there a particular reason you didn't like the arch? You can make them look so different by the way you decorate them.

You certainly do not have to have an arch at all. You could use a couple of columns that have a floral arrangement set on them and then repurpose the floral arrangemens on your sweetheart table as a centerpiece. And the columns can be easily moved when it's time for the reception to start.

You don't have to get married in front of anything, but it does anchor the photos especially in an outdoor venue. We've used spray painted pvc pipe and covered it with flowers, but the flowers add up fast if it's a big arch. I love the first one in the photos above--it looks like it's made with grapevine but would need to have something underneath it to support the vines. Happy Wedding Planning!
