We met through a mutual friend. At the time, I didn't think very much of him because I was dating the said mutual friend. After a few months, that friend and I broke up/he cheated. Cam was the one to let me know what was going on. He said "I don't want to see him hurt such a nice girl." After almost a whole summer of talking and doing absolutely stupid flirting, I decided to drive the two hours to visit him. Suring that two hours, I lost a headlight and got a speeding ticket. He asked me out the first night I was down in Adrian, and we have been dating ever since. I even framed my speeding ticket as a momento! I drove two hours every weekend to visit Cam for about six months. After that, we decided that it might be easier for us just to live together. So in February of 2010, I quit my two jobs and moved into our "first" apartment. In July of 2012, Cam proposed after almost two years of dating! It wasn't anything over the top romantic, but it was definately something that both of us will remember for pretty much the rest of our lives :D It was very fitting for our relationship! We are planning on getting married on June 8, 2014 (my dad's birthday). We choose that day just because I wanted to be able to have my deceased dad at the wedding somehow. Hopefully, this date will go off without a hitch!
