    100% believe that it is a need to have.

    Videography for weddings has come a long way but it is still so severely underrated.

    Your day goes by in the blink of an eye and I don't understand why you wouldn't want professional photos AND professional video to remember your day and to look back on. You only get married once.

    This is a keepsake for your future children and family to watch and for you. People pass away and to be able to relive moments that they were apart of with video is priceless.

    Video captures the movement that photos cannot. Yes, photography is important as well... equally as important. If you don't believe it's important then I think you need to look up more wedding videos online.

    Typically I am someone who understands the different sides of things but for this, I just truly don't understand any argument on why you wouldn't want one.

    Nice to have. We decided to cut this since we didn't have room in the budget. But if I had some extra I would definitely splurge on this.

    Just nice to have. Photography is definitely a must, but we haven't gotten on with the trend of videography.

    It was a "wish I could have" for me. I'd love to have it, but there's just no room in the budget for that... So pictures will do! Our photographer is just wonderful anyways, and her pictures tell a story regardless. So I'm really not sad about it. But I LOVE watching other people's wedding videos. Smiley smile

    Nice to have. I think it depends on how often you'd actually be watching footage of your wedding.

    Nice to have if you want it. We're not doing it. Pictures are fine, and we know our friends and family will be using their phones anyway

    Nice.

    A coworker offered to do ours for cost, so she could practice doing weddings (...and stage combat), but otherwise we wouldn't have hired video.
