Going to have to pull the plug and cancel our wedding that was suppose to be on June 13, 2020. All other dates we tried to choose isn’t working out since we are moving out of state next spring. We would have to wait until 2022 to get something and fly back and do a wedding lol. This stinks Smiley sad

I’m sorry your dealing with this. My friend also had the same date and had to move it to July.

Are you only looking at Saturdays or are you also considering Fridays or Sundays? While that might not be your first choice, I would definitely see if they have anything available that way you don't have to put off your wedding even longer. Or if you do want a Saturday, I would see what other Saturdays they have available and try to make it work. It might not be when you want it, but I would rather get married sooner than push it back because you can't have it on a certain date or time of year. But it all depends on what your priorities are. For us, we wanted to start having children and I didn't want children until we were married so getting married sooner was a priority to us. I also had always wanted a early fall wedding, but at the time of booking our venue my sister was supposed to be getting married in October and my brother-in-law was getting married in September so a fall wedding wouldn't have worked with our schedule. We decided to get married in July which wasn't what I had envisioned, but it was more important to me to marry my husband than it was to have a fall wedding.

I'm so sorry to hear that Christina! I also recommend looking into weekday wedding availability so you guys can try to tie the knot before you move!

Have you thought about moving forward with a small legal ceremony now and saving the big reception for later? Here's a few other discussions where I've seen other couples sharing their plans:

I'm so sorry to hear this! I agree that looking into other days of the week may help you, but I definitely empathize. Let us know what you decide!
