Venue Closed 2 months before my wedding:(

Hello Brides,

Two days ago I got an email from my venue saying that they have closed. They will no longer be able to have my ceremony/reception at the place. I am 2 months out from my wedding day. They have told us that it may take up to 60 days to get a full refund. This venue had everything included. The linen, meals, ceremony hall, reception hall, bridal suite, groom suite, and decorations was included in the venue. What I am asking from all of you are good sites where I can find good vendors online that was helpful. I am going to be looking into things as well, I just no longer have room for error. Please find a way to sympathize and help a bride out(: Thank you!

    Sorry you are going through this. I would email your other vendors (photographer, offciant, etc) and see if they can help you out. Explain the situation and they may be able to recommend something.

    Wow!!! I just got married last weekend and knowing all the stress we went through I can't imagine this being and issue on top of everything else Smiley sad so sorry your dealing with this! I do know a great and affordable place online to get all your linens if you don't find a venue that provides them! Let me know and I'll send you the info Smiley smile best of luck!

    Omfg. Drink a huge fucking bottle of wine. Have a serious conversation with FH about eloping or doing something super small with family only and going to a restaurant.

    Then deal with the hangover. Reevaluate the decision.

    If you still want to do it start calling up fucking everywhere and make it happen. You can do this.

    I'm so sorry this happened to you! You can do this though! Check out the Vendor tab on WW. You might find a venue that has not been booked yet that is offering a discount to get booked Smiley smile

    It can happen for you. Pull up the vendor tab and search. Then call around. Consider, as Jo said, doing something else.

    WW, why am I paying for advertising when so many people don't seem to even know there is a way to find vendors here???

    Wow!! I'm so sorry this happened!! You may have to be open for other options and to push your wedding back Smiley sad That's great that they're refunding, but awful that it will take so long. Hang in there!
