Not at all too early... mine is 9.3.22.. I got engaged last October and did a lot of planning right after... I’m use to party planning and know the struggle of waiting to last minute so I wanted to get as much as possible done ASAP.
Nice month to have a wedding. That's good you have all the bigger things planned out already. I know some venues seem to be booked really fast, so if you want it there you have to book it way in advance. I was engaged in August 2020, and we planned our wedding for September 2022 because we didn't know what it would be like with Covid. I work in the healthcare field and it was awful so that's why we are waiting until 2022. I didn't want to have to chose who I wanted to invite to my wedding because of covid restrictions. Lol. We booked our venue December 2020. We also had another couple who wanted the same day as us, and I told my Fiance they weren't taking our day. Good Luck planning the rest of your wedding.

I picked 2022 for the exact same reason- I figured it’s the apocalypse if we are still having covid restrictions in 2022… I want no mask photos and all bodies on the dance floor!
Yes!!! It is never too early to plan- My wedding is set for 9/17/22 and I already got my dress because the boutique I found it said it could take up to 11 months for the dress to come in due to COVID. I also find planning gives me a larger drawing board to start with, and once you have developed your budget you can eliminate things that are not as important for you and your partner. I also found starting earlier is less stressful. Happy planning!
Oh that's awesome! I have dress and venue booked. The venue includes the catering. Cake I know who is making it and photographer we have an idea- we still need to meet with her. Bridal party have their dress colors. I'm struggling with flowers and DJ lol
Soooo I'm crazy LOL and we just finished booking all of our vendors!! We just need to figure out my fiance's tux, groomsmens suits, bridesmaid dresses and I think that's it!! I was so anxious when I started reaching out to some vendors and they were saying they were booked up for most of 2022/starting to book into 2023, so I started just locking everything in!
How's your planning going?!
*LOL I'M A DUMBY - I thought this was a reply to my comment so I wrote back this response! I'm sorry about that!!**
We already booked our venue and a few vendors. Definitely not too early to plan. Get yourself a wedding planner on Amazon thatll help with all of these timelines
Hahaha no worries Micayla! I did the same thing with booking venue and starting to contact vendors. So many people said it was too early, but with COVID and things still being pushed back from last year so many people took up 2022 slots already! I have dress, venue, bridesmaids dresses, cake baker (personal friend). Photographer and DJ are friends just need to lock them in. The last thing really is florist. I also hired a planner who helped a lot lol
I gave DJ responsibility to my fiance. I was so frustrated looking at how expensive they all were, I just gave it to him and asked him to handle it lol!
My wedding is 10/8/22 and I've already started planning/booking the main things! I definitely recommend starting soon. We had to change our wedding date because the venue we wanted was booked.
We've paid deposits for our venue, coordinator, photographer, DJ, make-up and are doing a food tasting tomorrow and will pay that deposit very soon.
I plan on getting my dress in January/February! I won't send out save the dates until March/April? and then invitations in August?
My wedding is 9/18/22 and so far I found and booked venue, bartender, cake, officiant, photography, videographer, and DJ. So I think im almost there but it is taking a little time to get small details together.
